You know what is ironic Kim Fields who played Tootie on the Facts of Life and Regine Hunter on Living Single was supposed play Gary Coleman's girlfriend on this show but lost out because was taller than him and he was 4-8 at his tallest and she is only 5-0 tall.
boy i really did not appreciate when that dude uploaded almost every episode of different strokes and out of nowhere this dude deletes his page, and now im desperate to see episodes besides silkhairmoves and mandreke9
what i dont get is that dana plato is not credited but she is shown in one of the pictures and is sitting on the couch so why didnt she just come back for this season
@balotelli456 Well, Dixie Carter left, so they replaced her with Mary Ann Mobley. Even though they played the same character, it just didn't look right!
I know that Dana Plato killed herself. I belive she also wanted out of the series.

I've been looking all over and I still can't find the version where they go "hmm" at the end......
MizzNae126 1 month ago
@MizzNae126 That was only during the end credits in some of the early seasons.

Love the way they did the intro but I dont like how they changed the tone of the song

@Greeneagle86
They had to re-do the song after switching networks.

Interesting to note: Even though Dana Plato was not named in the credits, she was shown twice.

@MichaelBrookham She had a recurring role and it's not like they were going to ignore Kimberly's character.

How is it, the 90's version of the theme song sounded like it was made in the 80's?
CoolerKing37 4 months ago
@CoolerKing37 That's because it was. The show ended in 1986.

I never thought about this before, but...Dana Plato is at the end but Mary Jo Catlett isn't?

Notice one thing in this. Dana Plato is not credited at all, yet at the very end, she is shown sitting on the couch.

The only thing I don't like about this season is that it looks as though Phil Drummond is cheating on Maggie!
