  • The sound is not clear on this Utube.Could you kindly adjust it ? I love to hear how it is performed.

  • *too.

Your spelling mistake made your comment obsolete.

  • Idiot. This is just the intro to the song, it doesn't get faster until 4+ minutes into the piece. There are many other videos here of other artist performing the Sonata so your "only a few people know the complete song" is utter nonsense; also, they all play the intro at the SAME tempo as this musician so your "you are to slow" comment is utter nonsense as well.

You need to educate YOURSELF before getting on your parent's computer and tell other people how accomplished they are or are not.

  • You know, there's a very interesting story behing this song. The composer Tartini had a dream where he was lying on his bed and the devil sat beside him playing a violin. He said that the sound from his instrument brought over him a feeling of astounding wonderment and ecstasy. When he awoke, he scrambled to right the song down, but said it's a meer shadow of the music of his dreams.

  • Ola, this is not a song, it is called "melody"...

  • Songs have words...

  • The sound quality is horrible... Too bad my normal link won't work. Oh well. Nicely done.

  • it doesnt sound hard true but thats not the full song it gets a bitchload harder

  • all u ppl try playing paganinni caprice 16 and 20

    then tell me wats harder

ive played most of the paganini pieces =)

  • whats so difficult about this? i read that its called "the devil's" becase its very hard to play but i saw nothing here as challenging as paganini's pieces.

  • music is for enjoyment,not a penance!

  • because it's not the full piece?

  • Actually, it's called "the devil's" because Tartini saw the devil play it in his dreams.

  • Dilan Dog`s theory? =)

  • It's called the Devil's Trill because Tartini claimed the Devil came to him in his dream, and played on his violin for him. Tartini, upon awaking, wrote down what he heard, and claimed what the Devil played was ten times harder.

  • 10 times harder 0.0

  • could be better with full

  • Good performance, not as good video, but oh well...and by the way, that is a violin and not a cello.
