Hah! I think Congress' approval ratings is about 19% right now. They must wish that they had Bush's approval ratings of 29%. I'm very disappointed with Bush, but even more so with Congress because they have been so quick to point fingers without actually resolving our most important issues. The Democrats didn't know what to do with the majority after they were literally handed power by the inept Republican incumbents. Maybe they can blame it on the illness-inducing coal and oil.
Reid is correct. Our current President is an unpopular joke. Republicans will lose many Senate seats this fall. And I predict that these basic points - Bush's massive unpopularity and Republicans' losing many seats this fall - will not be rebutted by any of the GOP shills on this comment list.
