It is kind of funny you are actually talking about the same 8-Traits from Richard St. John's book named '8 To Be Great'. Passion, Work, Focus, Push, Ideas, Improve, Serve, and Persist.
The same things you are talking about are: Focus, Persist, Push, Goal Setting (Ideas), New Goals (Improve). The only two you didn't talk about were Passion and Work (which is kind of logic).
