I wonder how it feels for the rest of the band to work with Myles and then go back to scott. Scott has sounded good previously in concerts. well lets see how they do on their new album.
Alter Bridge is great on their records as well. Miles Kennedy has a great voice, but have you heard THEM live? Kind of the same, maybe a little better with him in the lineup than Scott Stapp. It hurts to listen to him sing live. For real. Creed and Alter Bridge are great on their records. Live, definitely not worth it.
Scott Stapp is TERRRRRIBLE live! He can't hit any notes! What's the deal? I think he sounds fine on Creed's records. But seriously, sit there and listen to him try and sing. He can't sing fast enough to keep up with the music, he can't hit any high notes and leaves Brian Marshall to sing them. Tremonti is a beast of a guitar player but i don't like his tone live, and Flip is a GREAT drummer, but like Lars Ulrich, plays WAYYYY too fast live.
@TheAhmetallica I didn't see any post abot metallica, but yeah, i've seen em. Lars is fine live, he just plays way too freakin fast. It's natural to speed songs up a little bit, but that dude increases the tempo so fast it makes the entire song "One" like 3 minutes long, lol.
I don't know what the problem is. both scott stapp and myles kennedy are great singers. scott isn't that bad here live. on the same live dvd when he sings a thousand faces he sounds almost exactly like the album. he has to get the crowd going as well as sing. plus he probable hadn't toured in awhile. watching him perform in 2010 and 2011 he sounds just fine as well. there's nothing wrong with scott stapp
@MorbidJoshRD Actually, the guy playing rhythm is Eric Friedman. Myles Kennedy toured with Creed while in a group called The Mayfield Four and in 2002 Mark Tremonti asked if Myles would join Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips to form Alter Bridge. AB isn't just Creed without Scott, it's four of the most talented musicians in the world with an entirely new and different sound, setting them apart from Creed and every other band out there.
