Iphone runs MAC OSX so it will always be unique lets not forget that. All htc is doing is providing some "touch" capabilities onto a crap OS. You do realize that it runs WIndows Mobile correct. HTC is not providing competition because this phone will die very quickly solely because of the OS. Windows allocates resources like crap and that will kill this phone, but whatever as long as there is competition u think all is good. Competition is not worth having if you are pushing out a crap product
The only way someone can provide competition against the iphone is if they make there own OS. The iphone's OS is far above anything else out there. That is apples real core competency. No one can provide a stable more reliable OS than apple right now. Providing touch features is easily imitated as we can see but providing a great OS isnt. Someone needs to come out with an OS with the ease of use as the iphone and the power of the iphone. Prettying up Windows mobile will not work. WILL NOT WORK

It has more options, and you can actually add programs that are PC related not Mac Related. Video Calls, 3G, and a BETTER camera, and can actually RECORD something unlike the iPhone.
This phone has a great design but it doesn't even come close to the user friendly experience that the multitouch iphone offers! And it's too laggy too! Sorry HTC better luck next time!

The software is just a iPhone clone, without the excellent shading and mirror effects, and of course, without the SIMPLE interface & shortcuts.
The iPhone still feels more genuine, this phone reeks of cheap software made under a tight budget, and little time.
