I just ordered a black to white conversion here in Sweden and my biggest concern is, how long will the white stay white? I mean, white in the long run tends to turn yellow/brown and I hope that doesn't happen for quite some time at least. How is your phone Larry?

Larry comparing your white iphone conversion to your wife's original do you notice any difference in the screen quality/color? Also any flickering? My co-worker sent his iphone out for the conversion and the display doesn't look the same as my original and it flickers. I wanted to wait to see his before i sent mine out but im having doubts now.

The information about the factory unlocked phones is incorrect. Here in Canada you can walk into an Apple store and buy and unlocked phone.  It's EXACTLY the same phone, box and charger. In fact my locked phone ships as an unlocked phone to the store and is only locked by the sales tech when you buy the phone.

The chargers only vary by region.

Also, the screens that they've sent me ALL have a yellowish tint to it. I immediately put my black screen back on, and the change is immediate.

And finally, the flash diffusers on the back plates that they've sent me were all misaligned.

While everybody's experience may vary, mine was horrible.

Their box IS fake. Google the UPC and some of the numbers on the back. They show up as BLACK unlocked phones, not the white ones.

Maybe their batch of parts that they sent me were bad, I don't know.

Also, they've YET to send me the white home button that was supposed to be included (as well as the cheap case).

But congrats on your conversion. I'll be reviewing Big Shoulder Device's conversion kit (as well as the red and blue ones) next week (if you're interested). >>

I know that you've watched my video, and got some of the facts wrong (if I'm wrong, please correct me).

I initially put the parts on myself, and screwed some things up. I admitted that. I sent it to them to get it fixed, and they forgot to fix a few things.

Either way, their parts aren't that great. They sent me a few extra replacement parts, and they ALL had issues (frame coming off the glass, missing white paint, etc). >>

Dunno why so many male reviewers want their iphone's white?? I know the white iphone was originally made to attract more women to but iphones, it didn't work as the majority of white iphones are bought by men lol. Wonder why, i am a women and prefer the black version.

@nikeeweston It doesn't have anything to do with appealing to women. White is the original apple color. The iPod, iMac, Mac Book and iPhone have all come in white. It's the quintessential apple color.

Wish I knew about the full conversion though, my headphone jack and 30 pin aren't white :( but it still looks nice. O and I use the HD Film Screen Portector on the front from Elago. It makes it easier to place on with no bubbles and you don't notice the blue tent at all. But we all know you love your SGP shields. Take care man

Good stuff Larry, I was wondering when you convert, I sent mine to iresq, turned out GREAT. now you can do case reviews with the white iPhone to help me decide on cases.

Larry is talking about when they release the white iPhone 4, they won't know it's been tampered if you take yours in.
