aren't there coyotes in Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx?? I actually saw one a week ago only 5 miles across the Bronx border in Westchester. In the past I've seen one on the Bronx River Parkway. Coyotes are very smart... they are around much more than they are spotted. I'm sure some ppl have just thought they were stray dogs.

Here in Tucson (a large city of a million people) Coyotes are a part of our landscaping. We hear them most nights. After all they were here before we were. Perhaps they belong here instead of us?
