@RobertThe5 It cost too much. Disney didn't want to keep spending so much on such a small ride. Space Mountain and Captain EO are now on the spot where this once was.
wow. I recently saw a little thing for the new Cars area of Disneyland/ world (not sure which) and they have something remarkably similar, though I don't think you can smoke.
My son found this site for me. I have been asking people if they remembered this ride for years. No one ever remembered it, I thought I was the only one. It was my favorite ride, as soon as I entered Disneyland I would run over to this. Yes, I am old but I am so glad someone finally put this up, I have been going crazy ! I loved this ride, it was so much fun.

i've heard it was super dangerous because there wasn't seatbelts! i also heard that the tires wouldn't move because some people were too heavy!

I remember seeing these on the 1990 special 'The Disneyland Story,' and thinking they really looked cool!
Of course, in this day and age, executives and lawyers look at this ride as a 'lawsuit waiting to happen.'
I hope John Lasseter is able to get the new version approved. I want to go when they finish redoing DCA.
