This is one of those "Lets shoot taking ourselves seriously all to hell" eps that defined the 3rd season. Gone wass the nifty sci fi premise of a pocket dimension, and in were the goofball monsters of the week that had no business in a sci fi setting, or worse totally contradicted what came before
The thing to me that really stood out in this series was the technology like the remote control pylons to control the weather and open dimensional vortexes to other times in space,the lost city of the sleestack lizard alien people,the colored glowing stones you could make into a force field in case you where attacked by a dino like those T-Rexes that where alot of trouble with the help of there friend time traveler Enic the Altrustion the show was ahead of it's time.
You know Wasted i think your jumping to conclustions about this episode really i do when i was growing up in the 70's i was a real fan of this series Land of the Lost bigtime! and i remember seeing this episode no lie it came out saturday mornings i wouldn't miss it o.k. but how would you feel sailing the wind on a ship that was ment to sail the ocean and had to till the end of eternity gosh i would get bored as hell with no one to talk to for company
if that aired today...it would be about a guy trying to get with a young girl. I guess back when this showed on tv I was clueless...I think I was holly's age...I'll have to see how old the actress is now
