Great video. The only flaw I've seen is hen you're moving from the g to the d. The way I play it, personally that is, I only hit the a string on the 5th fret with my pinky. Other than that, it sounds great man, keep it up and help others enjoy the gospel of MetallicA!! Lol

That firts distorted riff it's a little bit wrong . I have the Metallica books , and after the Low A5 , you play a D5 chord , in the book , you only hit the note D , not the whole cord , the sound is more quicker I think.

thats how you play it...999-777-555-444 on D and then 4 on G, except on the last 999777555444 where the riff changes, you go back to 5 on the D string

Sometimes I hear James Palm Muting some of the chords that Kirk lets ring out for a bit of a percussive sound. That could be part of it.

for a gallop you kinda have to alternate pick or else it makes it alot more difficult than it should be. if your having trouble galloping, the easiest way is to start slow and gradually pick up the pace.

yea.. its a trill really. (down, up, down) really fast..

get one trill on each note, 4 notes (trills) = 12 picks total.

Also got to add that last little note in the end. He plays a 4 on the G, I think its a 5 on the A.

And that's how I was after a lot of time spent on this video and the other ones for fade to black.

So, beside the 'you know what you're doing', the fact that you play it slow, repeat it and explain each damn step is a major plus. Also, even the 'uh... 5th string... uh... 4th fret' helps a bit, you take more time on that note. Which is good.

So yeah, the hell with tabs, I learned the whole song from you. I wish I could repay you.
