  • I saw a good sized Tayra last week crossing the road between Nueva Vida and Zoh Laguna in the state of Campeche, Mexico. It's a beautiful and graceful animal.

  • What a cool vid

  • Beautiful animals. :)

  • beello

  • Nice video.

  • The Tayra is in the weasel family by the looks of thiss one this ones is about 2-4 years of age

  • A totally under rated animal of beauty and excitement. It's organisms like this that should give people more of an inititive to conserve the rainforest. If i make enough money when I'm older I will buy a male and female of this species along with others and breed populations and then take the specimens to a conservation program and help to nurse this species as well as many others in the wild. I'm 15 and have a dream of conservation and preserving the wonderful gems on our planet.

  • @coolboy1178 Wow!! Great plan. The only qualms I personally have against this is that the Tayra is not particularly rare compared to other species. You might consider the orangutang or the golden lion tamarin (two examples of endangered rainforest mammal species)?

  • I saw an adult one in Madidi National Park, in Bolivia. Great animal.

  • Great clip - thanks for posting!

  • omg .

My name is tayra xD !!

  • PLEASE IGNORE THE COMMENT BELOW MINE.

  • thats my boo

  • Nice! Here in Nicargua I've seen some of them as well. Being eira barbara its scientific name if im not wrong. The background bird sound is pretty similar to Scarlet Macaw's (ara macao).

    Thanks for posting the video

  • Magnificent
