Correction. The actress is not Kalpana - it is Bhavani, who also starred with Vishnu in Kalla Kulla, Nagakanye and Sahodarara Savaal

@pratyah, of course the movie was originally also filmed and released in technicolor. It was the first Kannada movie to be completely shot outside a film studio. A big budget movie of all times. And after "Bangarada Manushya" Siddalingaih could afford to do such a movie. And man! Was Lokesh good in this! He is one of the most underrated actor in Kannada cinema.

She is not Kalpana. Someone earlier said she is Bhavani. Kalpana did not act in this movie. Beautiful scenery in this video. But I don't remember seeing this movie in color. I don't think this movie was made in color at that time, it was black and white unless I have forgotten, it was produced 35 years ago. A great movie nonetheless. I have a feeling it was converted to color.
