What a thrill it is to watch a trout break the surface of the water, inhale the fly, and resist until it is finally exhausted and reeled in. The test is the pitting of the fisherman’s knowledge and skill against the noble trout.
@BornAgainstMormons The hate mail you receive with profanity and vulgarities from a FEW hostile users, doesn't represent the whole Christian community that speak out against Mormonism. In fact, you can't call those people Christian. You assume this person is Christian, when you know nothing about him/ her who could be atheist, for all you know, that just hates Mormons. You have never received vulgarities from myself or the many other Christian users on here who speak out against your RELIGION.
people say this to EVERY group, this has been said many times, for every group, there will be another that completely hates it, it's called discrimination, everyone does it, whether only slightly, or powerfully. They aren't innocent of such things as well. It is done to, and by, people of all races, religions, genders, and sexualities.
I'm not, hate is hate, and it's never right, but it's either a troll or someone who likes to copy insults, because this exact phrase has been used on me before, and it isn't something you should take seriously.
@joshmonster94 I am not sure what you mean by 'take serious'. Notwithstanding, I refuse to be passive when it comes to anti- Mormons. I find whenever I expose the hatred the rhetoric takes a hiatus.
By that I meant that they are empty words from a sad man who just wants to put some sort of glorification in their life, by demeaning another's, in other words, he's a prick, a lonely, stupid prick. I may not agree with everything a Mormon, or any religion, preaches, but I have only a few times had to resort to insults, but only due to the sheer ignorance, or disrespect presented before myself.
P.S. jub jub was a cheat to the game battlefront, just some trivia.
I support this video completely, and would like jubjub to explain himself, because there is always two sides to a story. He, most likely, won't be able to justify those remarks, though.
Yes, because some people have good reasons, do I think she does? NO, does she have the right to explain why she lashed out? YES. I want to know what caused her anger towards Mormonism, if you didn't know, there are good reasons to not like the religion, she just might have been effected more by them. I don't hate Mormons, I don't even hold a dislike for them, but there are bad things that they have done/endorsed that they are, more likely than not, ignorant towards.
by saying that you don't want to know why, you shut yourself out, you become willfully ignorant towards other people's feelings. She may have very good reasons for hating Mormonism, but you never know, you won't even hear her out. I don't believe she has a good reason, but what do I know? she hasn't told it to us, yet.
@joshmonster94 "She may have very good reasons for hating Mormonism,"
There are NEVER good reasons to hate. Hate ONLY leads to cancer, HATE has never done good. It SCARES me to think that there are people who think that HATE can be good.
please tell me you're joking. There are good reasons to hate, I hate the KKK for spreading discriminatory hate, I hate the Westboro Baptist church and Neo-Nazis for the same reasons, Mormonism has done wrongs and wronged some people, THAT is one good reason to hate the organization. Hate without reason is Bigotry, and bigotry can NEVER be good, or cause good actions.
So you love the KKK, westboro baptist church, and the Neo-Nazis, infact, by that comment, you love all bigots out in the world.
What a nice person. Do you seriously believe that there are never good reasons to hate? I hate BAD THINGS, if something is illegal, wrong, disgusting, or of a bad nature, I hate it, it is bad, and deserves hate. Read more that two sentences into my comments next time.
I have love for the people in these groups. I try NOT to be an extremist and think that EVERYTHING has to be LOVE or HATE. I do feel sad for people that make bad decisions. I have DISGUST for many of their actions. But because someone might have WRONGED me in some way, to me that is NO reason for me to turn my heart black.
If someone shot you, would you not hate them? If someone stopped you from getting married for no good reason, would you hate them? You seem to deny others a look into yourself by lying, hate, whether full-blown or small, is a human emotion, you are human, you DO feel it, an you are lying to others, as well as yourself by saying the opposite. I've seen your hate in one of your comments about Jubjub, so get back over to reality, this conversation can't start until you face yourself.
Like the fly fisherman who knows that trout are driven by hunger, Lucifer knows our “hunger,” or weaknesses, and tempts us with counterfeit lures which, if taken, can cause us to be yanked from the stream of life into his unmerciful influence
@omiolo "Like the fly fisherman who knows that trout are driven by hunger, Lucifer knows our “hunger,” or weaknesses, and tempts us with counterfeit lures which, if taken, can cause us to be yanked from the stream of life into his unmerciful influence"
Right, exactly like Mormonism. It is a counterfeit religion that is tempting to the eyes and lusts of the flesh, all wrapped up in one big beautiful package.
And unlike a fly fisherman who catches and releases the fish unharmed back into the water, Lucifer will not voluntarily let go. His goal is to make his victims as miserable as he is.
Brothers and sisters, the advent of the fall season here in the Rocky Mountains brings with it the glorious colors of leaves transforming from green to blazing oranges, reds, and yellows. During the fall all nature is in a state of transition, preparing for the cold, austere beauty of winter.
The use of artificial lures to fool and catch a fish is an example of the way Lucifer often tempts, deceives, and tries to ensnare us.
