i hate barbie when i was 5 i flushed down 3 of my barbie dolls because i was playing and than later my mum got me my 1st ever bratz doll so i stopped playing barbie dolls and my mum threw them in the attic

I think soragirl6 is right and i totally agree. Mattel is a big bully. Think about it, barbie's been around for about 50 years (sorry if i got the age wrong) and bratz has been around for a way shorter time and wasn't Bratz the one that become a bit more popular? (not sure) When i was 6 i got rid of my Barbies and made room for my bratz. Im now 11 and I've been collecting Bratz ever since.

Barbie was also a fad. Really, Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers are taking over. I don't think there's anything wrong with variety. Barbie was around during the racist days, and I wouldn't want the same Barbie from then to be here. So there needs to be variety in the doll world. Many people can relate to many things.

People are living in the past Barbie as different races now they have a new Black barbie doll line to and and its pretty good ik i like variety and the bratz dolls are ok but Barbie has been around for 5 decades of girls i would be unhappy if my daughters when i grow up wont be able to have a Barbie

well the problem is that the guy who created the bratz worked for mattel when he designed them. so the characters belong to mattel technically, really MGA should have done some refferences on bryant carter (the creater) before they bought the designs...because bryant carter also sold the design to mattel thats why there are my scene dolls....

and mattel left the bratz for the first 2 years because they had no idea that Bryant Carter was the designer...when they found that out all hell broke loose because mga bought a stolen idea....according to Bryant Carters contract that he breached

im 11 too, and my first bratz i got was a meygan dance doll in 2003, then 2004, i got a formal funk jade, and i started colecting bratz, and playing with them too.

When I was 10 I got rid of my Barbies (people played with dolls way later then...). Bratz got me back into dolls at that age. So I mean, I think Barbie is a good family item, and good for YOUNGER children. But older children find Barbie too fantasy-like for them to relate to. Bratz is more their speed.

if your 26 then you started playing with bratz at 19...that aside barbie is only fantasy themed these days because the princes dolls and crap....there were never princess dolls untill the mid 90's the moment they released the princess crap barbie's demographic went from say 6-10 down to 3-7, even though they release barbies aimed at an older audience.

I think I like this video... It made me think about how evil Mattel really is for banning the production of the Bratz dolls and for other things it has done in the past trying to get rid of MGA Entertainment. I still cannot accept the fact that the Bratz are gone. Can you imagine a world without the Bratz dolls?

As a Mattel fan, I have to say that Mattel is a big bully. Thy will do anything to come on top. I mean come on why would they wait until Bratz are famous to try to get MGA?....Something doesn't sound right. But this American Justice system sucks....

mattel have been fighting this battel since 2004 y years after the dolls release and when they were fistly sued by MGA and in 2006 my scene were taken from most shops shelves due to a court order in favour of MGA, now mattel have come ouot on top....but MGA are still planning an actuall bratz line for 2010
