tiger boss is easy lol i can solo it on my lvl 80 war in prot spec with shit gear. mandokir on the other hand is a bit hard to down cuz he fears and hits fairly hard ive only managed to solo him 3 times

its because you just need to have someone in your raid to enter it then go in, it could be a level 1 in the raid

Tried doing it with my prot warri, i was hardly able to do anything except jin'do, then i tried as a fury-prot and soloed all bosses.

But it takes some time though, because the damage as a fury-prot pretty much sucks, you lack all the good damage talent from both trees, so it's much easier for dks.

at least i was able to survive hakkars enrage for about 1 minute and killed him right before he would've killed me, the zandalarians praised me as a hero but just gave me 250 reputation XD

About the Kara solo comment :

Impossible most likely to solo all of kara with curator in the way with his disease immunity and heavy damage. Tried it and could only bring him to 20% hp before he enraged in 12minutes because i spent most of the time killing the sparks.

Also I think bat boss is harder than tiger when you do not have alot of hit. Simply because if mind freeze resists she gains 25%+ hp back while those bombs hurt you.

Hakkar is very easy after you kill all the high priests, it's actually very boring.

You just stand there hitting your buttons until he dies, hell you dont even have to move. Aggro -> DPS -> Loot .

I only killed him once for my achievement.

Isnt it better to solo in Blood Presence? You won't take 15% more damage, but you will kill the boss 15% faster and heal yourself for ~17-18% more than in Frost Presence.

When I solo bosses I just throw on my tanking gear and stay in Blood Presence. Frost works, but why waste all that time really?

Of course it's better if Gear allows it. In Blood Presence anyone can clear all of ZG 135%faster than with FP.

What I mean to say though, is that if you can solo a mob in Frost Presence without any close calls, you can definitely do it in Blood Presence.

The armor difference is around 10% mitigation, except you're healing yourself for way more (like I mentioned, 15% on Death Strike + 2% all DPS from Blood Pres.)

sadly that is incorrect, blood presence only works on mobs that give xp, these are lvl 60, the dont give xp so you dont get the heal

In BC epic geared paladins & warriors were already farming thekal. Figurine of Colossus (if you can use that trinket) & high defense, it's almost impossible to die.

Death Knights function diffrently but they are amazingly strong when it comes down to soloing old content. Self Heals & avoidance ,no block. DK class is crazy when it comes down to surviving PvE even Raid content.

If you're blood specced that improves the self healing even futher, then that's crazy. Try A DK :P

It's the safest way to do, since the raptors sunder armors can stack. I've had 10x stacks of them. The hardest part of Mandokir is to live trough the enrage but i'm sure you can do it, smart use of cooldowns & healing when needed.

The raptor hits for very low damage, 100-400 give or take a few (sunders improve it). Mandokir can open a can of whoopass with sudden bursts from 2.8k upto 5.3k (during enrage). He has a special ability called Guillotine that hits hard, the mortal strike hits around 2.3k usually. The charge also deals damage, whirlwind hits for 1.3k.

I'd hate to think how hard he hits if those crit, yes those are just hits. I didn't include the enrage bonus to everything.

I tried it once on my DK trying for him first but he takes a really long time to kill so it's best to just do the raptor first and then make it through the enrage. I'm defense capped in my tank gear so I won't take any crits. It got a little dicey but then it just became a matter of wearing him down, using your CDs when they're up. It'll get easier but it's a long fight solo.

yeah, thats how i do it too :). And some people here say it's impossible, or they say it was done on private server.

Old content is old and these bosses dont have any abilities that forces to have more people.

Here's a challenge for the whiners, try to solo the first boss from Utgarde Keep and see him destroy you and that guy isn't even a "skull". Then goto ZG pick ANY of the high priests/mandokir - the difficulty difference is huge.

It's around 33g-43g from each boss plus the loot. If all bosses drop 35g it's 280g without counting gold from vendors. Once you get the strategy down it's very easy money.

Death Strike Glyph (doable without it), Horn of Winter, Death & Decay, Pestilence and Death Coil & Ghoul glyphs that's still remaining from my Unholy build.

I used one potion before Phase2 against Thekal, probably didn't need it though. Against Mandokir i open my bag but didn't take one (i get feared too).

All the other healing are mostly from Vampiric Blood + Rune Tap and some Death Strikes.
