Biden knows what he's doing. He's smart and clear. He would be a good president. I like Obama too, but on another video, Obama evades a question about 9-11 truth and Biden actually answers. Go Biden
Richardson had solid answers the whole debate, but even more importantly was able to show a basis for his ideas to ACTUALLY happen with his budget plans.
Plus, he wants to put money into education that we so desperately need. Our public education is losing by a landslide to other countries!
Hillary weak answers but was able to pull it off. Obama - wherever the waves goes, but strong in some issues.Edwards Good strategy when it was important
Richardson- In my opinion the best answers and all suported by his policy plan. Gravel - one crazy one in the bunch, very loud , very funny
Kucinich- very serious about his answers unfortunately the debate too biased on the center seated stars Joe Byden- This is like a little Bush Dodd- another serious and smart gentlemen
no one with a fake name, eg wolf blitzer should be running a presidential debate. it's too hollywood. also the candidates should be given long enough to answer, not be subserviant to some crazy little zionist and his corporate hegemony's advertisers time slots. this is an important issue
It definitely came up in both the journalists questions and during the town hall forum parts of the debate. I don't remember which part of the 11 they were in, but it was definitely there. That was why richardson kept talking about being a "border governer"
Wow, Kucinich was really strong in this debate. I'm hoping for his nomination and Ron Paul's nomination. America can't lose if both of them are running.
Fuckers , Biden , hilary are members of intrest groups like the NAZI lobby AIPAC which sucks billions of american tax dollars to fund the Jewish weaponry . They are contradicting themselves !!
Kucinich ideas for gun restriction are ridiculous to a point that he's a serious threat to individual liberties, I feel sorry to anyone who doesn't see that. It's not about people's desires to bare arms it's about our RIGHT and that's it. The first thing any oppressive government does is ban guns so that they can enforce police state very easily. The only man out of any candidate that will restore respect and the Republic is Libertarian Republican Ron Paul he is what this nation needs sorely.
I'm attacking Kucinich btw because I think he's the better of the Dem candidates. I like Gravel but he's a bit divisive to the party and arrogant and he couldn't ever win because of that.
Ron Paul is still number one in my book, I like Gravel but it really doesn't seem like he is serious about running for president and he is a little outlandish. Obama earned some respect from me through this debate as well as Bill Richardson.
Kucinich and Gravel are the only people on this program I have the slightest bit of respect for, and I will be voting for Kucinich in the primary; most of these people tend to make me sick on most issues, especially there pathetic, disgusting militarism. I really want to cry and vomit after watching these debates. As much is at stake, we know nothing will be done. Global warming wasn't even mentioned and we are facing extinction.
vwlf, I agree with you so much I had to post it again!
Now what I didnt really herd was how many innocent people have died in Iraq and Afghanistan.(including our service men and women, every body talked about them). How can you leave the country which is in bits and pieces, whose people want to kill each other and who have people who want to harm them from outside. It is not that EASY(like button of STAPLES) its very complicated and need to be addressed carefully by understanding people's needs from both Iraq and Afghanistan.
I think my choice for a ticket would be Biden/Obama. Biden seemed the most competent, and respectful of others in his approach. I think Obama would make a great VP, getting experience to pave the way for a presidential run in 2012 or 2016
Biden is sharp as a tack. He plays the political spin game like most politicians, but he steps up and puts his neck out for the right thing when it really matters. I'd be thrilled if he got nominated.
Best comment of the night was Kucinich: You want to end the war, stop the funding! Don't even offer a funding bill. The Dems control both houses and have the power to end the war today. But they continue to fund the so-called "Bush's war" and that makes them equally responsible for it.
Dodd is right. Public financing of election campaigns, and EVERY donor should be clearly listed for public viewing. Open the shit up and give politics back to the people.
Thank you SO MUCH!!! My wife and I are American citizens living outside the coutry and have no other way to view these debates. Without your help we, and many others, would be voting blind!
Let us not forget that as I am viewing these videos many other people who are not Americans now can see the true debate that is going on in the US. This helps people understand that there isn't just one view that all Americans have! Believe me a lot of people do... :)

I think its a shame because they sound like the best candidates but I don't think they have a chance at winning as opposed to the people that probably will get he nod.
Yep. Great joke - but I mean the sad part is that he will never win. Such radical thinking can't be accepted by the dunces that hound the polls on election day. Not that votes by dunces are bad, it's just that people with great views can't get the people to agree them without pandering to centrist ideas.
Obama's easily the most intelligent candidate of either policy; being editor of the Harvard Law Review and currently professor at UChicago Law's really impressive. That said, Clinton is probably in the best position to rebuild the US's status as a diplomatic player in international affairs. The Economist had a really good article on the subject a couple weeks ago.
I've been really squeamish about Hillary, but I think you're right she's in the best position to make an impact. And she's centrist enough to get elected - in theory anyway until the GOP clinton slander-o-matic machine gets fueled up again.

Hillary drops some Milton Friedman, "there is no free lunch." Earlier she dropped some Barry Goldwater. I like those two, but I do not like her.

Kucinich's foreign policy is pretty foolish. Pulling out of NAFTA and the WTO are both bad calls, as is advocating complete nuclear disarmament.
