An interesting time capsule (although you could say POG itself is a time capsule) of what a pre-internet society thought the world would be like without an internet.
Strange in a way, it seems almost naive now. Only Douglas Adams' (RIP) concept of the digital archive (ie wikipedia) came to pass as predicted, the other concepts like VR (HA!) and the death of the comic book never materialised as such. Although the rough core concepts of e-books and print-on-demand can also be seen here...
