  • hmmm. limp bizkit to korn. nice

  • post this video without the music it would be much beter

  • heavy sled or bad track? they went pullin to far

  • @wightBaNaNa shitty track

  • omfg did you see the ridiculous toe that chevy had at 4:06?? hella sick! :)

  • @JDMaddiction9 looks even cooler when they snap ; )

  • That old Ford was frickin awesome.

  • Not trying to be an ass hole, i really like this video, but is there a way i could watch it maybe without the music in it? i really want to hear all of the trucks

  • haha, the truck at 6:21 actually runs away!

  • purple chevy!!!

  • my '89 7.3L international could kick the ford at 6:21s ass!!! and nice sound trak btw

  • I'm somewhat of a n00b at this, so please pardon if this sounds stupid. Most of the trucks look pike they're unloaded and have regular tire PSI. Why don't they drop their tire PSI and load the back end with crap for better traction? Is there some regulation on PSI and loading your truck down or something?

  • @toiletpunker they not aloud to lower the psi and put shit in the back

  • Good pulls but skip the music next time ok bud.

  • nice video to bad u got a stupid sound track much rather listen to the diesels thats part of the pull

  • Limp bizkit is not rap fag

  • oh yeah, 5:00 best song ive heard so far...

  • that was really good!

  • The chev at 3:03 came in 2nd ! lol im not a ford guy but that one ford has a hell of a motor haha just turn the EFI live tune up another notch on that D-max and it would have smoked everyone lol

  • @OwnageEliteCA I agree

  • i take it that first pull was a beginner. lol.. where are you from and what are your normal weight pulls. id love to come sometime to a pull. depends whether my truck is ready to pull or not but it sure sounds like the crowd get excited with smoke and i can give that.

  • man that must be a greasy track that day.......

  • Nothin like a good ole 6.9 lol. Even if it did run away lol.

  • The only music we should hear is the sound of Diesels. If your gonna over write music over Diesels...just mute the Diesels.

  • hahahaha !!! that old ass white ford at the end was kicking ass on most of the newer trucks......

  • looks like they need some solid lugged mud terrains to pull here

  • kinda funny when people talk crap bout fords but among all those chevys and dodges the ford outpulled all them even tho had trouble gettin started

  • That was sweet at 8:04 when he says "GO" and then that pickup starts chuckin soot! nice timing! cool vid.

  • at 4:13 wtf was with that truck and the driver

  • @7point3powerstroker It was the tie rods that gave way

  • good video but that track sucked

  • Dude!! That was like the sweetest video ive ever seen on youtube!!! Like the music that gets you pumped up right from the get go...and the sweet ass trucks...thats wat its all about!!

  • that track was sloppy

  • it was like a mud run and a truck pull mixed together. that ol' boy in the idi had that dude cranked up but it looks like she still needs some bugs worked out

  • That track looked very poorly maintained for the pullers. Those boys would be lucky if they hooked at all

  • would be better wit quieter music or with out music.

  • I love how the one ford that was there seemed like it was going to give up and then BAM! started to smoke like a damn locomotive.

  • that track sucks ass,too wet and rough

  • chevy motherfucker

  • That track sucks!!!

  • Look up "Double Overtime Powerstroke" and "Stroked Out Powerstroke" and "Great White Powerstroke" before you start talking shit about the Power Strokes

  • I bet you at least half of those GM's front ends turned to absolute SHIT after this. I'd give it to Dodge except they can't even build their own fucking motor. These are all city boys mostly with their big rigs, anybody who's anybody knows a 7.3 powerstroke could pull the living PISS out of that thing.

  • um the 7.3 is built by international dumbass.

  • @chevy490

    up until 2003.5

  • yeah then they went to the 6.0 which was built by international aswell.

  • which is the most un-reliable diesel out there

  • indeed

  • enough with the chevys jesus fuck

  • cut the music and lets listen to the exhaust...

  • Kind of boring, I guess the Powerstrokes stayed home. Too bad, they would have put some life in this party with all these shitty Duramaxes.

  • Cummins got it goin on, Chevy not far behind...Ford, powerjokes

  • the ford did good for once.......cant win them all.....Mopar....

  • I've been to a lot of these pulls and Dodge seems to win the majority........Chevy are doing well at times...but Ford can't make the power that Dodge and Chevy can especially on the Raw diesel........

  • The 08's are doing mighty fine with 6.4's and spartan or RCD tunes. They are the heaviest truck making pretty decent numbers...so it gives them an advantage

  • go chev power

  • same with that first chevy, what, electric engine? lol

  • might aswell say that computers control the engine for the most part now days but i got mine bypassed so i control the computer =]

  • Looks like that Ford started eating its own oil 1/2 way down the track. And he had to stall it out at full throtttle. Great Vid just get rid of that horse shit music

  • leave it to a old 6.9 naturally aspirated FORD to show a bunch of yuppies how to do it.

  • i got a ford with balls!

  • hell yea you do did u notice that idi drag the fuck outa that sled that was awesome and what about that reg cab chevy that the tires was pointin towards each other lol it seemed the dodge boys didnt even try though most of em tried to torque the sled no wheel speed what so ever kind sad if i do say so myself

  • @jonesd5o

the reason the chevy @4:15 was because the front axle was an IFS(Indepent Front Suspension) system, which wasn't as reliable as an SFA(Solid Front Axle) that GM changed in '91 and left it like that 'til this and will remain until GM decides to change it. when the tires were pointing inward like that it puts alot of strain on the tie rod ends which could ultimately fail.

  • oh yea i knew that i was just pointin it out to the chevy guys that always say chevy rules blah ba blah ba fuckin blah u know

  • are these stock trucks?

  • What a shitty track

  • wow is that track loose, no one was doing any good.

  • I like how the chevy and gmc tires started to tow in on the front solid axel anybody. Oh and that ford raped that sled.

  • great vid but why did u put limp biscuit music playing the background

  • haha, i like how all the chevy's have massive toe in on the IFS haha.

    solid axle FTW!

  • fuckin sexy !!!!!!!!!

  • the ford could have ran away running on his own oil and u know they do have kits for them so it probally does have one

  • what happend the the ford he let it rev at the end when not moveing? turbo blowing or somthink? and why does he have lots of white smoke? iallways wanted to know that

  • No turbo on that truck. Governor spring stuck in the injection pump causing it to run wide open and not be able to shut it off. He had to let the clutch out quick to stall it. Smoke was caused by the pump screwing up.

  • pulled farther than any of the others

  • agreed 100%

    ford= no balls

  • i think he is doing the same bij diesel tractor pullers. they mix the diesel up with water because the engines are tuned and the enigines can be so hot that the pistons are going to melt. so the water cools the piston so it won't melt. i think that he had to much water in the combustion chamber ; )

  • ohh haha never new that. good idea i guess as long as that water dont get into the crank case. and dont cause any rust

  • u mean methane/water injection?

  • at 4:30 the tie rods were bending but they didnt actually break or else the tire would be flailing around it straightened back out after he got off the throttle

  • three cheers for neutral drops!

  • they dont nutral drop they torque it up spooling the trubo and then release some have tranny breaks on them to spool the surbo more man you nutral drop in a sled pull bat things will happen plus you wont have the turbo build up from putting load on it .

  • ....

alright, i am gonna try and translate what you just said as best as i can

most guys use a manual transmission, so they spool up and manipulate the clutch in a correct way to put down power. THE FORD neutral dropped, from what i could see it looked like an auto

oh, and you can build boost by doing a neutral drop, because you're at higher rpms when you drop in into gear. BAD things will happen, of course, due to the fact autos shouldn't be n-dropped

  • isnt "neutral dropping" a manual just dumping the clutch? you cant exactly cram a manual in to gear without holding in the clutch

  • no? AUTOMATICS neutral drop, hence going from "N" down to "D" (dropping the gear selector from neutral to a drive gear)

dumping the clutch is dumping the clutch, pretty self explanatory there

and no you cant shove your standard shift rig into gear without engaging the clutch, your syncros would have a major objection to that

  • thats exactly what i said dude...the guy above me said most guys were running manuals and neutral dropping so i sad uhh isnt it dumping the clutch not neutral dropping

and i said you cant exactly cram a manual in to gear..on mine it doesn't even grind cuz it wont let it go far enough

  • funny thing is, the OLD ford kicked everyones ASS. lol

  • @JimVandermeer4 Doesnt matter how old it is its prolly got a hell of a motor in it lol

  • @JimVandermeer4 lol yeah cause if you watch, its so gutless it wasn't didn't have the power to slip the tires. watch the dmaxs where they where spinning out like crazy. the track was very loose and nobody could put the power to the ground, they just spun the tires and couldn't get traction..its not rocket science guys.. if the track was worth a damn that ford wouldnt of stood a chance..just proving facts.. not making excuses, i have been to lots of pulls and one of my friends has a puller

  • @86godsmack Really? I bet it has nothing to do with the fact that the Cummins hits peak torque at 2100 rpm and the D-max is close to that also...and the old ford with the 7.3l IDI hits peak torque at 1400 rpm... meaning when the track is slippery and loose and the Dodge and Chevy guys are floored the whole time going crazy that old Ford is just chugging along. Kinda like standing on an ice patch...do you take off at a dead sprint or go slow searching for traction so you don't bust your ass?

  • theyre in the shop.

  • Where's The Good Stuff Powerstroke Baby

  • I love ford as much as you, but anyone would rather pull with a cummins

  • That Ford at 6:00 most certainly ran away. Just because it came from the factory without a charger doesn't mean that it doesn't have one, especially since its hooked to the sled. That thick putrid grey smoke it Certainly runaway diesel smoke. Just look at how the end when he has to put it into gear and jerk it against the sled to try to kill it. I had an old mack do the same to me, stuffed my rain coat right into the breather and choked it out. That is a nasty problem

  • videos are much better without music, Diesel trucks sound better than music

  • I want to see this again but with out the music so damn loud

  • The ford did run away but the sled must have not worked correctly to let him that far. I think wieght box stayed put. Those IDI motors are not that strong.

  • no that wieght box did move. Those fucking ford's pull like a mother

  • dude were is the power=ford

  • all this pulls looked shitty, but that track looked a bit muddy too.

  • wow dude...that did suck...y were the pulls so short?!?

  • sry!........ps piss off

  • get this shitty ass music off i wanna listen to the turbos not some shitty ass rap

  • hey 2 words for you...FUCK YOU....if you don't like it don't watch it

  • @lucallain5 hey no offense but this is to good to need music. the diesel engine screaming and turbos whining is music to my ears.

  • what the hell it this?!?! what was the best pull 120 feet?!?! i mean come on!

  • Could the people who put music on these damned vidoes knock it #*$@ off. I would rather hear the music off the turbo's and the exhaust and motors and the sounds of the crouds as opposed to discordent sounds of some crappy band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Does anybody on here no the mods done to that idi Ford? It def. did a runaway at the end though lol

  • Maroon Duramax made it the farthest.

  • Maroon Dmax pulled the front of the sled up to the "full pull" sign, the old ford pulled the half the sled past the "full pull" sign. That old ford out pulled them all.

  • Sled is too heavy for that soft dirt.

  • haha sorry buddy it wasn't a powerstroke, maybe thats before your time ;) thats mechanical power for ya not some pos electronic p-stroke, 6.9-7.3 idi mech. All the way baby. Them dogs can haul if you jump them up

  • Yup, IDI for sure...better than a powerstroke.

  • only full pull was it cummins dont think so was it duramax dont think so was it powerstroke hell yea thats right dont know what the problem was at the begening but he got a full pull and thats what matters

  • omg if your gonna pull have something worth pulling with, some of those trucks are pathetic

  • Awesome video!, what is the song at the beginning?

  • i think its limb bizkets cover of mission impossible

  • this video sucks

  • Sorry boys, wet or not that Ford 6.9l idi kicked all their asses. That one hell of a truck! The chevys and dodges just couldn't hang with. I would like to see it pull in person. Where is this at?

  • that track sucked but they had some pretty sweet trucks there, i liked the last chevy

  • I agree, that track sucks!!!

  • I agree, that track sucks!!!

  • that is a wet track

  • or just post the same vid without the music

  • Nice video! Could you post a version without the music so we can actually hear the engines? Thanks...

  • 3:08: nice chevy!

  • I give props to the mid 80's F-350 @ 6:15. I'd assume he running just a modded IDI 6.9L.

    Sweet-ass engines!

  • dont know much about em, but assuming the pump stuck on it!

  • I thought it seemed more like a driveline issue.

  • ya it a 6.9L. the governor spring broke and the pump was stuck wide open cause it all mechanical.

  • Haha my bad.

  • Oh i was talking about at the begining of both clips of him.

    My bad. haha

Do you know how modified that 6.9 is? Just turned up pump, intake, and exhaust?

  • no idea how modified it is. exhaust for sure cause it dual and would imagine turned up pump cause of the way it smokes. my buddy got a 7.3 mechanical with pumped turned up, custom ram air, and dual 5 inch stacks and it smokes black pretty good. bulls like a bull too.

  • Yeah i agree with Mystik, new one tons are only rated for 16-18,000lbs... So with towing 40k...i'd have to assume you will go through a few differentials/axles, 6-7 transmissions, 10 or 12 sets of wheel bearings in the next year & 1/2, and replacing the brake pads/rotors every other week.

Not to mention how illegal it is to tow 3 times the allowed GVW.

Yeah...Inline 6's are by far the best for durability and torque...gas or diesel...they just are.

  • 6 in a row makes it BLOW.

the only good inline 6's are the 5.9l cummins and the 4.0 jeep engine.

  • Don't forget the 4.9 Ford I-6. The Cummins of gas I-6's. 20-25 mpg, almost as much torque as a small block. You can run those things for 300,000+ miles. Beat on them with 3 cylinders and still have loads of power. I dont care if you like ford chevy dodge or whoever...those are amazing engines.

  • your an idiot if you pull 40000 lbs with a one ton. cause for one u cant fkin stop and your just destroyin fkin truck. get ya a over the road truck ya fk

  • im sure all you guys talkin smack drive your trucks around or just pull a bobcat or something in that line try maxing it and a trailer over 40,000 gross weight and see how long it last only a cummins will i dont care who puts it out dodge ford chevy just as long as it has the cummins cuz thats what makes the truck to pull 40+ day in and day out

  • with that inline is the only way

  • Want Some?

  • wow the guy in the old ford does not know how to treat a truck!! DURAWIMPS and POWERJACK-OFFS SUCKKK!!! GET A FUCKING CUMMINGS BITCH!!!!!!

  • lmao buddy its cummins...idiotic people should not be able to post comments, number one it's his truck...I think your just jealous because the old idi champ beat the shit outa them cummins...the duramax did well in those pulls too high five, with a v8 your never late.

  • did i forget to mention the 42" super swampers with a 6" lift kit along with massive ladderbars

  • yea rite buddy, if it could only run long enough to get to the pull! ill bet it probably came on a trailer pulled by a ford! ill bet you dont even have a real truck, u probably drive a fucken ricer or some shit like that, and if you think your durajoke has an ounce of power, lets see it against my '87 f350 dually with a 7.3L diesel with a banks turbo and methanol injection...

  • duramax is an embarassment to the world of diesel engines. GET A POWERSTROKE!

  • that's why even the duramax kills powerchokes at competitions.

  • duramax added to many banks to smoke most diesel trucks. end of story

  • It "ran Away" Look it up on google. Its what you call a runaway diesel. notice how he has to stall it in the end to shut it off.

  • So what was the deal with the old Ford?

  • basically the throttle got stuck... thats hwy it was goin for so long. he had to stall it to shut the fuel off

  • I didn't mean at the end, I meant how did the old IDI Ford that could barely get moving end up out-pulling a bunch of newer and "better" trucks?

  • tried and true thats all you can say about that i'm speculating but did that old ford have propane because at the end it was pegged and he had to stall it to get it to stop but i was wondering cuz of all the white smoke

  • I'd like to see where the genius that said Duramaxes were made in Mexico and Canada got his info from. GM owns a large part of Isuzu and produces the D-Max in the good 'ol USA. Do some research.

  • Actually its made by Isuzu overseas...I think he meant the truck itself, and all of the big 3 make vehicles outside the US because of NAFTA.

  • That 6.9 Diesel must have had an aftermarket turbo because judging by the smoke and the high Rpm's, it looked as if it was "running Away" when the engine superheats the engine oil and burns it throught the turbo line, because he looks as if he had to stall it under load to kill it. But thats just my .02.

  • sounded like a turbo whining to me..

  • don't know what yall was watchin but it looked 2 me like the ol 2 tone non turbo 6.9 FORD whooped some dipermax and cummapart ass.. IH power...

  • LOL I ha a old ford like that with a 7.3 with the fuel screw in all the way and man would it tow anything and smoke like a SOB doing it

  • That's cause international made the motor not Ford.

  • go cummins my freinds, real diesel power

  • what i don't get is how ppl try and make fun of duramax because its designed by Japanese or w/e but the thing is the kids there value there education and everyone is extremely good in school and there ahead of us in education....plus the actual engine is made in the us

  • The fact that Isuzu is Japanese does not negate the power of the Duramax; however it kills the reputation of General Motors. It's just akward to have a Japanese engine in an American vehicle.

If I were GM, I would have kept putting in the Detroit Diesel engines that were in GM trucks during the 80's and 90's.

  • I had NO IDEA Ohio was even close to Japan.

  • But GM still has help from Isuzu -- a Japanese company that is based in Japan.

  • Yea, and GM builds their trucks in Canada and mexico...

  • Not the 1990 C1500 Chevy truck that I am going to restore in my garage.

  • Duramax can kick any hot rod car and most other diesels asses

  • thats what the duramax is a hot rod! And again try geting a pre '01 chevy and competing with pre '01 dodges and fords!

  • I have to say that the Duramax diesel's kicked ass.

  • its about time chevy has a diesel to compete!

  • Too bad the best pulling motors are 12v cummins.. lol.. straight 6 power baby!!!!!

  • they would pull alot better if the track was not wet
