  • What are you supposed to think about when you meditate?

  • @chelojelo The trick is to try not to think at all. If a thought comes into your head, witness that it's there as though you're watching it from outside of yourself. Then let it go and return to concentrating on your breathing.

    It's not easy at first, I'm still constantly shooing thoughts away but it gets better with time and is worth the effort. Good luck!

    Thanks. I just don't even really know how to watch myself thinking thoughts like i'm somebody else. I just don't get that. I mean, i think i do, then it doesn't make sense again when i'm actually trying to do it.

    Thanks. I have done some reading about meditation since, and a little practice, too. Thinking of nothing is very hard but fun to try.

  • I loved the lesson about shenpa's; I found out that I have a lot of them; I've been working out with yoga for years, sometimes I quit yoga and do cardio-fitness. But this time I'm really motivated, because I'm going through a stressfull period of my life, and cardio just relaxes me in the moment, but the effect wears off easyly; with Yoga I'm really looking forward for those 15/40 minutes of time just for myself, just to relax, and I feel much better, the days flow easier, and life seems simple
