You have to have an interface that has Phantom Power, you turn that on and it will work. Condenser Microphones need the Phantom Power, so that should probably work.
What do you think about M-AUDIO LUNA? Is it good mic? I want to buy some mic for recording percussions and maybe some vocals. What would you recommened to me?
@RandyPeter216 i had the exact same queation. I also use mixcraft. You need a mixer with Phantom power. Mine 179 pounds wich is like 350 dollars. That powers the mic. Then you go to prefreces on mixcraft and change the recording mic on the drop down. works great
and Acid Pro, on any of them is their any way i can here myself when i talk into the mic?
And i'm also having problems i have a midi keyboard and FL 9 but somehow when i press the keys on my keyboard i dont hear the keys playing on the computer, just the keyboard?
yea because when you started you knew everything you needed and what to do already. You prob got all that equip and still suck ass so you get mad at vent on youtube. Fuckn dork
cassette to mp3, go to your attic or basment, find a walk man, go to future shop/bestbuy/wal-mart, look for a cord thats got the head phones jack on both sides, plug one end to the walkman, and the other on the red colour jack on yo comp, hit the reecord button and hit the play button on the tape that eazy :D Lmao
very simple question. What do I need, the least expensive way to go, to transfer music from cassette to computer. I know I will need some piece of equiptment, but have been out of the loop for many yrs insofar as recording equiptment, etc. thanks...
Well, I'm not sure what exactly you would need but you could definately head down to your local Best Buy or Frys Electronics store for that info. Sorry I couldnt help much there if you have any other questions just let me.
Um, I believe you mean a Pop Filter? Am I wrong, something you just put in front of the mic to lower the P sounds and S sounds and Z sounds, right? If you want to know about that, just watch part 2 of Setting Up Your Own Home Studio. And yes, all microphones will need a Pop Filter.
Hey no problem, if you got anymore problems or anything on music, just subscribe and I'll putting up more videos on how to make music, and some of my own music, so please subscribe.
Well I know that, at Hit Squad Records, we got the MPC5000, so yeah you don't need a computer, but I'm talking about on a lower budget, for beginners. You could also use like a Yamaha Motif, or a Roland Fantom.

Is there any problem if I use my laptop's built in sound card? It can produce 48 KhZ and 320 bit sound.
