  • just made two of hem one from one inch copper pipe and the other is like 1 inch pipe to quater inch

  • Good idea. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Nice tips and tools. Your next investment should be a decent camera, though.

    Cheers

  • You should have used a piece of pegboard as a template when laying out your mounting plate, then used the same template to drill the holes in the conduit. Everything would then have the same spacing and the holders would mount uniformly.

  • @macdoro999 Templates are good to use. I wasn't to worried at the time. Good suggestion. Thanks for watching.

  • great idea

    must try

  • Cheapper than buying the "secial" peg board stuff. A trick I use for drilling on a rounded surface, is. Scrap 2x4 or what ever, Drill a hole in the face, that will fit the work piece (tube) then drill a hole "crossbore" through edge, into the larger hole.

Also if doing many like you did. take your long pipe measure the 2" cut off points and the screw holes. Do your drilling first on larger pieces then chop of each one.

Nice Idea!!! just trying to make it easier to make.

  • whats wrong with an actual tool chest for storing tools?... I hate leaving all my expensive valuable tools on hangers like a thrift store wall display.. plus a rolling tool chest is lockable portable and a whole lot less work.

  • @HackerGuitarist When working in the shop I like to have tools close at hand and within reach. I have rolling boxes, but I like the tools out for use. Thanks for watching.
