Actually, TOOL in 2002 was the best show Anchorage has ever had.

Yeah, fine, fine...Elton John finally made it to Alaska, and Alaskans had their 2 1/2 hour singalong.

The finest concert Alaska has ever witnessed was unfortunately witnessed by very few Alaskans. The two Ween concerts in August '01 in Girdwood sweep the floor with any other act who's come up here.

CONCERT PROMOTERS, GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR RECTUMS AND BRING WEEN BACK TO ALASKA.

Best. show. ever. (At least, best show ever...in Alaska.) I was on the floor, in row 20 (center) -- but it sounds like you guys actually had BETTER sound up in the balcony. Not that it was bad from the floor -- it wasn't.

I was pleasantly surprised -- I thought he'd sound AWFUL in the Sully, because the acoustics are so bad/echoey. Whoever set up the sound system did a GREAT job.

Tha'ts a testiment to CLIVE FRANKS.. his sound engineer, who has done EVERY SINGLE ELTON JOHN CONCERT in his career - he does a superb job indeed; and yes the sound is always better farther back partly because of how the sound carries but also that's where Clive is stationed, on the floor in the back. Wish I'd been there; I've seen him 42 times, from Sydney, Australia to Paris, France and all over the lower 48 and Honolulu.. would've loved to have gone to Alaska to see him!!
