  • HACKERS

  • who was the female singer with Leftfield at Chester?

  • Was only about 1000 people left at Chester when these were on last night, but the bass was fucking epic. The most anyone moved was to these.

  • @plonkerfest So good at Chester Rocks. Pity loads of people left after Iggy Pop and missed these.

  • @Mulberrycait I know mate, but they still put on a beltin' show. Was amazing in amongst all the people near the front too

  • @Mulberrycait Yes, can't believe many went. I'd been there since 1pm and stayed to the end. Leftfield were awesome!

  • I first heard this song in the Movie "Hackers". Later this song was featured in the comedy "Waiting"...I've been look for thiis for a while. Reminds me of old school Dancehall. This form of tech-electronic-dancehall is a rarity that is surely missed.

  • Just love this tune.Cannot wait to see Leftfield this summer at oxegen.

  • @clio2kn Just saw them last week at Coachella. The were incredible.

  • to kommataki einai poly kavla

  • @joenic2791 Well said. It's the same for me.

  • @downrodeo What else do you listen to? Just PM me, it's easier

  • This is just Genius.

  • If it's still making you wannna move, you're not old yet mate.

  • Discovered 15 minutes ago,already download it,truly good music.

    I'm AMAZED.

  • If someone told me that this album was made in 2007 or 2008, i would have completely believed them. Doesn't sound a tad outdated at all.

  • composition is ludicrously behind that of Orbital, one could consider basic!

  • lol i heard this song in hackers when they were looking for razor and blaze.

  • SEEING THESE TONIGHT AT BRIXTON ACADEMY.

    EVERYTING SHIP SHAPE AN SHINE!

  • I bought this CD first time I was in NYC in 1997, "pal". And I've been listening to such music since 1995, yes. Do you feel good for yourself after this ridiculous remark?

  • If you guys like this, you should check this out:

The Prodigy - Voodoo People [Dust Brothers Remix]

Those are called The Chemical Brothers now ;)

  • @ventsiplazma Are you from 95? You're about 15 years to late pal.

  • @matrags Good music knows no age, "pal".

  • duckman998, they are all looking over with sympathy thinking, that poor person is deaf, bless. "NICE DAY ISNT IT!!!", drive on dear....hehe

  • This song was perfect for the Victoria's Secret commercial. Inertia Creep is the only other song that I think is comparable to this. Any other sexy ass beat songs?

  • Can anyone help me out?

I really like this track, but it keeps bugging me,because ever since hearing it first time, and recognising (like some friends did) the percussion sample used in it

(at 0.54) from a early 80ties record I am trying to get that record again.

BUT., I don't remember which band it is! Anyone has any ideas and can help us out PLEASE? All we remember is that is a 10+minute track, from the early eighties, quite possibly a 12 inch.I want to end this quest :)

    THX IN ADVANCE!

  • @Orgonebox4u Upsetters's "Blackboard Jungle Dub". it think it's the one you were asking about.

  • @MRCOODIE I have listened to it but it isn't the one.

    THX for the reply though!

  • @Orgonebox4u Maybe Mark Stewart + Maffia (Learning to cope with cowardice/Liberty City).

  • @ochtendgloed22 THX for the reaction friend. (Jofel :)

Although he uses percussion the same way, and sounds quite similar as what I am searching for, it isn't what I am trying to find.Or at least not all the tracks I just listened too.Or the ones you mentioned..Anyone knowing what I am trying to find will instantly know what I mean, because the percussion sample is 100% IDENTICAL as the one used in this video.

Still.,thx for reminding me of Mark Stewart!

I am going to DL Metatron again :P

  • i pull up in traffic lights with this song on full volume, windows down, people look like wtf? but i know there all thinking, what a cool mother fucker.

  • FUCKIN AWESOME

  • Great stuff. Thank you.

  • Leftism, Dubnobasswithmyheadman, Endtroducing... The list goes on.

90s was the 5hit for tunes...

  • I can listen to this track all day. Still wont get old. Great tune.

  • AWESOME! LOUD!

  • free the people with music,one love,peace

  • @Scip

    Get a clue moron!

  • ragga muffin n tuff!!!

  • this and another track off the album (original) are better played at 45 rather than 33 if you're more of a house head, you need them on vinyl to do this tho i guess or mess around with them as an mp3?? anyway as previously indicated in these comments the track can sound better this way if your no predisposed to the dubbed out style and prefer the pace of the other tracks on this album.

  • what a tune ....bass line ..say know more leftfield are the nuts

  • @cesaramoga not forgetting the prodigy.

    I WILL BRING THIS BACK

  • @Progressismade ohh my good. big omission! Music for the Jilted Generation and the fat of the land are top notch of the techno rave scene in uk in the 90s. ohh boy I feel old right now

  • @cesaramoga

Couldn't agree more! And I own and regularly listen to all the albums you listed! Classics

  • @cesaramoga - Always great when someone lists similar artists for those who want to explore a tracks genre. Especially when the recommendations are so good!

  • @cesaramoga Villalobos "Alcachofa", Burial "Untrue" & s/t, Gas "Pop", Luomo "Vocalcity", Shed "Shedding the Past", The Field "From Here We Go Sublime" and much more

  • @cesaramoga I completely agree with you! Every album you listed there is amazing, pretty much all the albums that got me really feeling electronic music.... They just don't make 'em like they used to ay! ha

  • @cesaramoga YA MAN THISIS THE BEST
