I love this! Do you remember Nellie ended up beeing dumped too? Iin "meet me at the fair"! They both deserved it! But since Nancy´s on the show I´m thinking Nellie was a little angel even at her meanest stage! :)

Nancy sucks! I felt sorry for the other orphans that didn't get adopted. People want babies most of the time. I wish I had Cassandra and James. I would have sent Nancy back. Ok, Albert is the kid with really dark brown hair...the one who gets Nancy into the mermaid booth. Nancy, unlike Nellie, was an adopted child that Mrs. Oleson wanted after her all-grown-up daughter Nellie got married and moved away. Nellie was the Oleson's biological daughter.

Nancy would be Nellies adopted sister. They aren't the same person (in fact, Nancy is worse than Nellie ever was and Nellie even made that observation in the episode "The Return of Nellie". Both characters were played by totally different actresses 7 years apart in age. However, they coincidentally have the same first name. Nellie is played by Allison Arngrim, and Nancy is played by Allison Bolsom.
