  • the aqua coloured text doesnt help much lol

  • You people I do'nt cuss but you guys are talking about my brother and i am his sister and you better stop he is so nice and you all are wrong the reason he left cuz he did not want to be a drummer he wanted to be a singer for God, so you morons out there who knows your right well pretty much your wrong so get off and thebeardozeus stop saying stuff about my brother fucking stop!!!!

  • @MrsGirlyshow I'm not sure I buy that he's your brother, js. If he is, thats cool! But it seems like there are 50 bajillion teenage girls out there that would say the same thing

  • @MrsGirlyshow buuuuuuuuuuuuullshiiiiiit.

  • Underoath went from a Metalish-Rock to a MetalCore kind of genre. It changed so much.

  • what song is this its so good?

  • @skyunderliner isn't how sad how the illuminati is basically controlling this world..

  • :'(

  • :/ hmmh

he needs to do whats best for him

  • When God says time to go, it's time to go. No asking questions cause you might miss your chance for God's blessing.

  • Like he said Music can move people, maybe even nations and im sure i speak for more then myself when I say that Underoath CHANGED LIVES.

  • @Itishi Yeah, I wouldn't be alive or out of the hospital if it weren't for them. So they definitely changed mine, and I'm sure they changed others.

  • I love aaron, and UO!

  • I talked to spencer (Lead vocals) asking him what he knew about illuminati last night at his show and besides him having the all seeing eye plastered all over their new tshirts and obviously talking about it in their new album, he denied he knew what it was then contradicted him self saying he did then stumbled like an idiot and told me to "go with it". Aaron leaves and he tells me that?.... obvious whats gone on here...

  • i like UO without aaron, now the dont have that popy vibe anymore, aaron took that with him

  • I feel sorry for UnderOath. Aaron Gillespie kept the fans civil, he carries a gift with him. Now look at everyone. Using terrible language and hatred. what is wrong with you all? Things change, people change, and sometimes change finds people. I pray that your eyes will all be open.

  • I miss him in UnderOATH...I hope one day they will reunite for a tour so I can see them with Aaron :/

  • @benDrumswell very well said.

  • Dude, im not afraid to say im sad about Aaron leaving? Who cares if you thnk its "Lame" or "Stupid". He was one of my biggest influences when it comes to drums.and the words he wrote for Underoath helped me alot, i look up to him, just like half or more, of the people watching this video. Whats more sad, people being sad about someone theyre looking up to leave behind something they loved? Or the people sitting making fun, or cracking jokes at them, for getting into something they love? Gtfo bro

  • man, I wish I could grow hair like Aaron's.

  • wat is up wit big ppl leaving bands?

    i mean cove leaving saosin?

    bob leaving mcr?

    craig leaving chiodos?

    nd now aaron?

    wat th hell dude!!!!

    i want my bands back!

im not saying that they suck now or there gonna suck, but i miss th originals...

  • wow looks like people leave bands and join other bands. like michael tait joining newsboys, frontman , reilent k, paul coleman trio split.... went to sonic flood, etc, alot of shifting of band members, i suppose you get bored, or meet new people from different bands and just experiment with other band members/groups to bring variety. variety and versatility is cool for musicians. all bands progress as band members rotate...skillet, watashi wa, ace troubleshooter, the huntingtons, etc etc...

  • He is a great drummer and I hope one day he will return to underoath if not life goes on he is still my fav n underoath is still my fav band!

  • he is a drummer and one day he will want to play drums again wether it be in underoath or a new band i cant wait for that day

  • @mcflyluv17 Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear

  • I'm still fucking excited for the new album, though :] UNDEROATH FTW O:

  • To be honest, I believe that Aaron will go back to underoath- and not just because I want him to. I've actually noticed kind of a change in Aaron. And yeah, sure-- everyone, over time, will change o__o but it seems like he just let the fame get to him :/ I fucking love him and all, but sometimes in interviews he acts like he's doing people a favor by doing their show, or answering questions, blah blah blah... o-o In my opinion, he left Underoath just to get a reaction from fans.

  • Why are people so rude? its sad

  • @thebeardozeus

If it's so weird, than why did you click on it? Just so you can leave your ignorant comment to piss the maker off, when we all know your sitting behind your monitor laughing.

  • at least the keyboard guy is still in :D

  • @ihavefoundmikestooth ya, chris (keyboard guy) is th second longest member thats still in th band today, but aaron was th longest lasting till now...

  • @thebeardozeus Homosexuality has nothing to do with this, idiot. Also, i didn't shed a single fuckin tear about Aaron leaving. I made this video because i saw people's blog videos on youtube talking about Aaron's departure, and many of them had false information and/or were vague about why he left in the 1st place. My video isn't some retarded blog that is my own words about his departure, it's his. I wanted a source for people to find that is 100% the real story and his own words.

  • @jediknight28 Well, if you weren't so sheltered you'd probably realize that I didn't mean "gay" in the literal sense, but ok buddy. And, you obviously had to care, or be saddened to some extent, otherwise , why the fuck would you put so much effort into making a video about this.. If the topic of this video is something that doesn't interest you at all then why do it??

  • @thebeardozeus No it's not lame. i think doing news on some issue in the Gulf or some war is lame. CNN is for that. You can't even compare the two issues because obviously news is something some TV channel could cover much better than me, but news on aaron leaving i can cover as well and anyone who looked into it because i dont have to be there in another country getting info. I know everything will be okay you fuckin moron, aaron let everyone know in the message.

  • @thebeardozeus every underoath fan gives a fuck asshole

  • @kohlllll not true its not like uo sucks now

  • @kohlllll not true its not like uo sucks now. aaron is awesome but so is daniel

  • @thebeardozeus then you must be really lame because you think this video is lame yet you watched it hahah retard

  • @thebeardozeus Don't we hear enough of that stuff of BP issue on the news. Don't watch tis if you think it's lame. Grow up

  • @jediknight28 BTW Aaron was in Underoath for 13 years not 11 just wanted you to make that known

  • @thebeardozeus shut up dude he was awesome and also his awesome voice he sang so good and he basically was underoath because he wrote all the songs on define the great line so shut up!!!

  • men that suck alot aaron was the best in that band uynderoath never be same

  • hes been there since day one man, underoath just lost its heart

  • This saddens me :(. One thing that cheered me up tho was when Aaron played in Anaheim fer free at Chain Reaction for a place called City Church. this was one of the few times in my life where literally EVERYONE was singing and raising their hands, it was amazing!!! he played: Amazing Because It Is, The Dirty And The Left Out and a couple other songs. It was cool, he shared his story of how he started playing in church, and then joined Underoath. afterwards my dad downloaded all of his music :)

  • Upon his leaving UO the band is not even really UO anymore. They shall now be known as OverOath. haha.

But really. The Almost is good, an UnderOath is still good. mad respect all around for what they stand for.

  • Underoath will never be the without Aaron because the was a key in there vocals and the other drumer won't be the same

  • good video man thanks

  • arghhhh so upset he has gone i dont like the almost that much as underoath :( i love aaronnnn

  • The last origional underoath member..

  • GOD DANM STUPID ASS PEOPLE CANT ANYONE SEE WHY HE IS LEAVING???? AT ALL HE JOINED AS A KID WHEN HE WAS 14 EVERYONE HE MADE FRIENDS WITH LEFT HIM HE IS THE ONLY ONE LEFT OF THE BAND YEAH HE MADE NICE NEW BAND MATES AND FRIENDS BUT THE OLD FEELING LEFT HIM THE OLD FEELING OF HOW IT SHOULD SOUND ALL HIS FRIENDS LEFT HE FEELS HE HAS OVERSTAYED HE IS THE LAST LEFT LAST TO LEAVE HE WANTS TO DO SOMETHING NEW HE WANTS TO BE HAPPY LET HIM MAKE WONDERFUL MUSIC WITH HIS NEW BAND IT'S NOT METAL BUT ITS GOOD

  • @scorpionrules15 i agree, i think underoath will actually make the best album they ever will this next one

  • @scorpionrules15 --- TOTALLY....n TRUE! Times change n ppl do to.

  • @scorpionrules15 Wow you are really going to comment on a video of this nature like that? And no that isn't exactly the reason he left, he left because he wanted to be more straightforward about God and Jesus Christ and by branching off that allowed him to obtain more of a celebrity type spotlight. Do you not truly listen to anything he says? If you did I don't think you would be using some of the words you did.

  • @theDOAdrummer really ur going to be a dumbfuck and assume shit like that on a comment like this music and fans dont make a personality dont come at me saying jesus christ shit saying if i listen to his music i have to be a god loving moron i listen to his songs and his lyrics and know the meaning so go talk ur jesus christ bullshit and shove it up ur ass yes i know he came from a church the 1st uo saw him play and asked him to join i already made knew the backstory and why he branced away

  • i watched his interviews unlike u obvioulsly so fuck off my personality dont have to be holyier than tho bullshit to love his music

  • You know what's weird that I was thinking about the other day, in desperate times desperate measures there are two lines that Aaron sings that make me wonder if this is what he's talking about; "This may be my last one it's gonna be good and hard, it might be a touch out of key..." and then "God where have I been? I'm a terrible company with zero apologies, my God where have I been? Where have I been?"

  • @Ilikecoffeeandmusic nah that song is about Spencers drug addiction, ''This may be my last one it's gonna be good and hard, it might be a touch out of key...'' his last take of it. apparently he has a huge drug addiction during define the great line and it was to his defeat.

  • @RaiseTheFallen1 WHAT how'ed you find this out?!

  • @WESTSIDEGENIUS sorry i meant he HAD a drug addiction during define the great line (he wouldnt anymore), it was on this lyric meaning website, i dunno if its true but im guessing it probably is, because there was alot of songs kinda relating to stuff like that. so yeah he's still a good christian and stuff man ahha.

  • Yeah, it really sucks that Aaron is leaving, especially since I never got to see them live while he was still in the band. I hope everything works out for Aaron and the rest of the guys in UO. =/

  • i'll miss aaron. aww man, i really looked up to him as a singer. and always will.:'(

  • thanks for having actual written proof cause i have been hearing a bunch of stuff but nothing real so i hate to hear it but it was nice to read a quote from the man himself.

  • what will we doing without Aaron, it´s so complicated!!! Aaron was in Underoath a long time...... I think that Underoath won´t be the same without Aaron...... DON´T LEAVE Aaron, DON´T LEAVE:(

  • what will we doing without Aaron, it´s so complicated!!! Aaron was in Underoath a long time...... I think that Underoath won´t be the same without Aaron...... DON´T LEAVE Aaron, DON´T LEAVE:(

  • thanks for making this vid man it really hellped clear things up. underoath is my favorit band i'v listened to them sinse 2004. and has been there the whole way. i hope they stay post harcore and dont get rally heavy. really good job with the vid man

  • I love aaron and I totally support him!

  • Did you really have to make a video? People are soooooo weird..

  • @bigzooka If you don't like videos then get the hell of youtube

  • i hope underoath still goes strong though. id hate to just have these few albums to hang on to. i want them to keep evolving so i can have many and be able to appreciate each one for what it was worth

  • aww aaron is like my inspiration and always be no matter what band hes in

  • still sad :(

  • good song choice, it fits the mood and content of the video really well. freaking depressing news though

  • @illbringthebattleax thanks man. i thought so too when i put it in. The best choice.

  • Underoath will never be underoath without Aaron, no one can match how amazing ofa singer/drummer and manage to perfect it at the same time, it'l never be the same ): however i am verryyyyyy curious to find out where hes doing drum lessons cause i live in the area he originated from, Florida, can anyone tell me?

  • @drummrkid101 look it up on the internet or try the band site. It shouldn't be too hard to find out the answer.

  • @drummrkid101 i think hes doing it in tampa, but im for sure its in florida...

  • yeah i cried too, but im interested to see whats going to happen with UO.

  • Aaron Gillespie is always gonna be freakin' amazing, no matter what band he's in. I love UnderOath But i wont be the same w/o him! =(

  • This is sad

  • i am glad i saw them in december awesome show.

  • I never got to see him live im going to go die now :(

  • :'(

  • Awesome drummer. Too bad the world of hardcore music will no longer have him.

  • @ReturningEmpty dude its post-hardcore.

  • @coreyede no no its hardcore

  • I never thought this day would come.., sadden by the news and i was hoping they would play warped tour. Damn this really sucks , UO just wont be the same.

  • well you can look at it this way, when dallas left people said they would suck and it turned out great, and now he has his own band and they are doing great and everyone is still friends. true it does still suck

  • 3:37 ....... That's what will be missed. That voice. How do you replace that with that drumming at once. I have a feeling the next album will have a big change. On a possitive note it could be amazing. Still sad to see Aaron go. All the best for Aaron and Underoath.

  • Can't believe it also, I actually cried when I heard it :(

  • Thanks for this ...

    Still can't believe it's true.
