Do you guys know what engine they used in the Bug? We're not sure if we should use a VR6 Turbo for our Golf 1 or something else, so could be nice to know what you put into it :-)
@Fragment87 That engine was a type 1 VW 1600cc stroked to a 2275cc with a T4 Turbonetics Turbo. He had a 25 shot of nitrous to help spool the turbo on launch. Worked very well. Good Combo.

@AYEcorolla more displacment doesnt mean anything that bug is pushing alot of power because most likly forged internals based off of the rediculous nitrius purge because your not gonna run nos on a un reinforced engine cuz its just not smart.
the nos is prolly a huge shot like 150 shot or somthing possibly a 2 stage nos kit

oh and it kinda sounded like a turbo spool to so probly like 40 lbs of bosst coming off that
im sure the mustang had a stock 5.0 motor in it maybe just a cold air intake,gears a MILD tune and drag radials.....so there is a bit of a disadvantage there.
