  • YO SE QUE ALGUN DIA VOY A CUMPLIR UNOS DE MIS MAYORES SUEÑOS, QUE ES CONOCER MACCHU PICCHU,, ESPERAMEEE PERUUUUU :D

  • @thempireal No, no vengas! hahaha. Es broma!

  • im glad i saw this video. it has officially uninfluenced me to go to maccu picchu. Had no idea this place became so mainstream. Anyone that knows of another beautiful attraction that is far less attainable, please let me know.

  • @iamaj If you do it right it can be amazing. Sucks that there are friggin' busses that drive right to the top. Did a three day hike to get there and it was awesome, finished the next morning with a hike to the top. I would still go, it's incredible when you get up there. If you ever get a chance, go see the Uyuni salt flats in souther Bolivia, and I can also recommend as much of Patagonia as you can possibly see. All amazing.

  • visiting in august, im so very excited

  • @eKuL1995 my english is not very good, but welcome to Peru, my friend. I went in september, 2001. Cuzco and Machu Picchu are beautiful, the best. Greetings from Lima.

  • Can you imagine what Hiram Bingham saw when he discovered Machu Piccu.

Someday I will see that place!

  • @mewrongway Yes I can imagine what Bingham saw, when he arrived there in 1911 the site was completely overgrown by jungle. Most of the walls and buildings were in ruins. Machu Picchu as we see it today has been mostly rebuilt stone by stone by archeologists, it didn't look anything like what you see in this video when Hiram Bingham first arrived there. It is a great place to visit, if you go you will never forget it. There are other great places to see in Peru too.

  • Machu Picchu is so beautiful! I'm totally proud of that!.

Soon I'll travel with my classmates to any place of Peru because we are in the last year of the high school, and the destiny was in a moment Cuzco, but I don't know what the hell my classmates just was thinking that Machu Picchu is just a pure "stone" and nothing more.

I was very dissapointed of them until today, they aren't magic lover's, and saddly, we traveled to another place more near from Lima.

  • @AngelMaldonadoSME ...Another place near from Lima too, but nothing compared with Cuzco!.

And sorry them people (my classmates), I'm totally proud too that people from another places in the world arrive to Peru, specially for Machu Picchu and just.... THEY'RE JUST SCHOCKED ABOUT HOW MAGIC IS MACHU PICCHU!... and my classmates (been borning in Peru) just don't see more, just don't see the magic!.

  • I would love to visit this place.

  • one day i'll be out there!

  • if there is anywhere in the world to visit, this is it... well, anywhere with awesome ancient structures and culture- :)

  • @k3digichaos You wrote that because you aren't there, and isn't just a simple place to visit like you tried to explain, is really more than this, if you'll really are breathing, walking, watching, buying, eating and more things in Cuzco, you'll understand Machu Picchu and many more beautiful places around Peru is like the Freddie Mercury or Michael Jackson's voices... SUPER AMAZING!.

  • @AngelMaldonadoSME amen lol

  • In addition to the further research finding that Machu Picchu was actually a royal estate, this speaker went from it being a "city" to a "town" to a "village" in just 5 minutes of talking. And Hiram Bingham technically found it under the jungle, but it wasn't really 'hidden' as noted in the other comment, though he came here in 1911 not 1905 I believe.

  • Correction: Hiram Bingham did not DISCOVER this site, nor was it news that it is Incan. Let credit go where it is deserved, with the Peruvian people. Many indigenous groups in Peru knew Machu Picchu existed. The site was never forgotten. The speaker also appears to have trekked on the expensive train, $500 to ride, from what I can tell. I took the "local" train, as do most tourists who aren't millionaires or aren't sponsored by whomever. Expect significant delays on the train.

  • one of my dreams; to smoke a fatass blunt atop of Machu Picchu

  • @DaMetalBeast lmao dude last year i bought an ounce of weed and smoke a fat blunt in machu picchu...best shit ever

  • @madeindade1000 im fucking jealous, sounds like an amazing experience

  • yea that rides perfectly safe....but its beautiful.

  • I enjoyed every moment in this magnificent city. Few things as buses and entance fees changed since video was made. We prefered to catch a train in Ollantaytambo and saving few bucks.

  • machu pichu es territorio ecuatoriano

  • @MsAndrey94, agreed, but learn how to spell.

  • You went by minivan? we went by bus... And I mean huge wide coach buses, along these narrow roads. It was really scary.

  • @spencertron88, hahah, you're poor!

  • Absolutely amazing and wonderous. I would love to see Machu Picchu before I get too old! How much would that trip cost from Las Vegas, Nevada? Hmmmmm . . . You did an awesome job on this video!!! Thanks for sharing

  • @dolarcito1 Envidia jajajajaja

  • @dolarcito1 MAPUCHE=CHOLO COLOR CACA CUANDO TUS ANTEPASADOS COMIAN TIERRA LOS MIOS VIVIAN EN PALACIOS DE PEDRA Y COMIAN MAJARES NO TIENES CULTURA ERES COMO DIJO PACHACUTEC INDIOS MAPUCHES CUANDO LOS CONQUISTO RESPETA SI NO ENTIENDES Y DIRIGITE AL PERUANO COMO !

  • The residents of Machu Picchu, were giants. with red hair and beards. Just like the Giants described in the Bible. Legend said they left back to the heavens.

  • @dvs1572 yes and my mother has a laser cannon for an asshole.

  • History is all messed up, there are many different theories and opinions of macchu picchu like many believed it to be built for the inca emperor Pachacuti.

  • @Chipexcess, the fuckin Incas dod'nt built this marvel. Try going back 10.000 years. Much more research required on your part.

  • MaryllMats

DE DONDE ERES NAKA DE MIERDA

  • Now I'm hearing conflicting reports of Machu-Picchu. A previous video stated that it was built by the Incas to get away from Spanish conquest, now it's being said that Machu-Picchu was abandoned before the Spanish arrived. Where is this guy getting his facts from?

  • in my country (Serbia)..."mach" means Sword and "pichu" reminds of "Pichku" /(Vagina) so...the translate would be "sword in vagina"... xDDD

  • At 8,000 feet, the Iti Wantana provided line of sight to four mountain Gods in four cardinal direction and was a high point above the holy river. The direction North pointed to the heavens for the Mayan. What direction is the Sacred Rock sketch against the mountain.

  • i love machu pichu the first time i went i cried its a wonderful unforgetable place

  • @nannet1, you cried? Faggot!

  • We contiunue to marvel at the breathtaking locale and mystery surrounding the Lost City of the Inca : Machu Picchu. If Hiram Bingham was still around today he would have loved your YouTube video...Thanks Dennis!

  • My mother and big sister are both from Peru. I'm so ready to visit.

  • very interesting the peruvian culture is the best

  • @destroyer044 the best culture is really an opinion, The Mayans left written history on stele's and were just as impressive in there architecture. If u really want to be impressed Puma punku boggles the mind on how in the world were these ruins accomplished back in prehistoric times. 200 ton granite and diorite stones cut to precision to interlock. Only thing known to man that can cut diorite is diamond tip tools.

  • @00tonytone Yes you do wonder how they did it maybe polishing? Anyways i like Incan culture wouldnt call it the best though.

  • I can't wait to go there. One of my goals in life is to visit as many ancient places as possible. I think it's my duty and responsibility as a human to visit the homes of my ancestors, wherever they may have resided thousands of years ago.

    Peace to all.

  • It must have taken them for a long time to hual those rocks and stones up the moutain and carve them. It seems to me like by the time they were done that the Spanish invaded (I know the time was large in between)

  • How about altitude sickness?

  • Its only 8,000 ft above sea level. So within 12 hours most folks acclimatize. Older folks may take 1-2 days. For little babies its a non stop headache since they havent developed 100%. Caffeine pills are given for altitude issues.

  • Thanks for the kind reply.

  • 1 explanation for this: extra terestials

  • @Garudanime Or another explanation; a race of super smart kitties from the future! That's about as likely as saying ET wanted a nice garden terrace. Early man (not that this was made really that long ago) could accomplish quite a lot.

  • @Garudanime what? you've been watching too much "Ancient Aliens". Haven't you.

  • Imagine being a pre-Columbian Conquistador centuries ago. You arrive and take in Sacsayhuaman and other jaw dropping areas. You then realize you're clearly dealing with a people that much greater than yourself. How could one defeat the occupied areas and take their natural recourses? Easy, arrive carrying swine flu and all other sorts of viruses the Western Hemisphere had never see. NOT LOL, all that said, The Incas, Mayans, Aztecs, Toltecs, and countless others were truly amazing people!
