Actually, Kathryn was a very genuine and loving person. I went to one of her last events and it was deeply moving. Don't judge her by the old fashioned style. She was the real thing. Actually, Kathryn was a very genuine and loving person. I went to one of her last events and it was deeply moving. Don't judge her by the old fashioned style. She was the real thing. Not creepy, very, very connected to God and absolutly genuine in her love and faith. LOTS of people were healed from real illnesses. I am a well educated and somewhat sceptical person, it was real. I was there.

The Word Faith Movement in my opinion has the wrong view of God as it places trust in metaphysics as opposed to trust in God. It relies on a Universal Faith-Force that is in obedience to certain cosmic laws that God also must obey. God becomes something that can be manipulated through Positive Affirmation. Word Faith techniques such as Positive Confession and faith are not one in the same as it promotes ones own selfish desires

Kathryn Kuhlman was not word of faith; she was charismatic. There is a difference, even if there can be overlap.

Kathryn Kuhlman was a charismatic; however the Word of Faith Movement emerged from within Charismatic/ Pentecostal Christian roots. Word of Faith teachings have been a part of Pentecostalism since its beginnings, although in a less developed form. Faith Healing evangelists such as Kathryn Kuhlman would have a tremendous and profound impact on a new generation of Pentecostal preachers as well as Charismatics who would follow in her footsteps to form their own faith healing ministries.

@Rylucero The Word of Faith Movement is a dangerous and false type of Christianity, it has its roots in the Christian Science cult and deceives many people into thinking that they are real true believers. I have no consideration whatsoever for these WoF preachers for they are preaching a false Gospel.

Beware of the many false prophets who teach regularly on TBN. These wolves in sheeps clothing teach of a Third Movement classified as the Third Wave of Signs and Wonders that is comprised of Word Faith Doctrines that make God subservient to man due to the belief that God must operate under certain spiritual laws dictated by men. Please stay away from these heretical teaching, may the Lord rebuke these false prophets that practice these detestable doctrines!

I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit...but we are so desperate for someone to save us, we believe anything we want to hear and not God's truth. I can definitely attest to that. But I think that it's the ultimate heresy to say and do things that you know that God hasn't said to you (ex, healing all people). Shame on her and shame on all those who lie about God and his truth
