I heard this song at church this morning and it touched my heart more than I can say! I recently experienced heavy spiritual abuse from a summer camp I attempted to work at. God spoke to my heart and told me to flee but once home I felt burdened by guilt...I felt like I should've stayed and that maybe my faith wasn't strong enough. Those were lies from Satan! Though I am no longer there...the battle continues...the battle between light and darkness. With God there IS Victory!

@mewzikfreek Yeah, I'd get to a good church, with sound teaching, and a pastor you can confide in, or one that has altar workers/counsellors that you can discuss things openly with, when you find that so-called spiritual people are trying to abuse you. You will know the situation is right when you are guided more by God than by counsellors, but the counsellors are there to help you steer clear of Satan's lies, and to encourage you with the Word of God. Hope all is well with you now though...

@mewzikfreek ...oh, and if you are saying that you are at a good church now, then definitely have someone who is strong in the Lord come alongside you to pray with you (preferrably someone who's the same gender, but older than you and someone who has experienced battles with darkness). Many people are blessed by this music and that's a good thing. To me, this is basically U2 with Christian lyrics. Can Christian musicians come it with an innovative style of music that rewrites the equations? Once upon a time a group of people did this. They were So Called Negroes, and they "wrote" the spirituals that have made American music unique.

I feel this music has an appropriate niche. What gets me is when Black People play this instead of spirituals.
