hey ive been fly fishing for alot of bass all along the east coast. i noticed there were lots of trout rising as well but the wouldnt go for the bass poppers i was using. Have any ideas on what fly patterns i should use?
@mtbking21 You should try some wooly buggers with a gold bead Try to go for the colours white,yellow,purple,black,brown and olive. Or a estaz streamer just a marabou tail a3,8mm gold bead and a body of estaz which is matching the colour of the tail. Or if there rising a BWO foam hoppers foam mosquitos (hawthorn) or an adams. With the streamers just cast out and retrieve. With the dry fly cast a foot front of the fish and let it just sit. and after 10 sec figure retreive slowly
Sea trout will sometimes take fry patterns so try them.

@mtbking21 try using some cricket or grasshopper patterns
