  • adam carillo carilloewoenederbeoi

  • this is beast

  • Who's class was this?? Is this ET 1?

  • Hehe nice tune.

I wish our ear training was like that at Cambridge... it was a darn sight harder. Everyone has to do keyboard skills in their first year - these include transposing at sight a tone up or down (or semitone), harmonize a melody at sight, realization of figured bass at sight. In comparison, this sounds a bit like GCSE music. But well done, if it was murdered a little bit. A lot.

  • That was amazing. I wish we had ear training tests like this, it seems like it would be a fun way to learn. :]

  • this is great, i bet anything off kind of blue sounds amazing acapella

  • wow you guys should record this!

  • that's soo creative! i wish my teacher had us do a project like this! that's awesome

  • i'm studying music right now. doing ear training ! It's SO hard ! this takes a lot of dedication to do this

  • AMAZING! I'm going through Ear training 4 right now. Hardcore isn't it!?

  • so cute!! you're all are awesome

  • extremely cool!

  • damn there goes my hope of getting into berklee. my ear sucks

  • hey, but, that's why it's 'ear training'. No one is born with good ears (unless you have perfect pitch). My ears used to suck, but, I've gone through all these books and it's really paid off.

  • The best tune by Miles Davis! Very well done, guys!

  • Wow, you can really appriciate how great miles solo is when blended with voices like this. Great job.

  • Love it, love it, love it.

  • funny how the drum guy looks like a hip hopper

  • holy crap how did you guys do that without looking at music or even a cheat sheet? Once you learn the solfege does it become second nature to hear the solfege syllables automatically when you hear the notes?

  • Cool. The guy going mi, mi, mi reminds me of the Road Runner ;)

FYI, the person who asked about the Do, Re, Mi, etc. The pronunciation of the solfege syllables changes when accidentals (sharps and flats) are used. From Wikipedia:

..with a chromatic scale of ascending di, ri, fi, si, li and descending te, le, se, me, ra

  • BAD. ASS.

  • Hey, this is pretty tight! I just listened to that song a few days ago too, so I've had it stuck in my head. Nice job!

  • this is awesome. I wish our project was this fun instead of just singing incoherent shit. nice job man.

  • Very impressive!

  • OMG the memories this brings back. :)

  • Cool , its funny how you americans pronunce Ré , Do and Mi. The dude in drums got a nice grade too ? hehehe

  • Ummm just wondering how do you where ever your from pronounce Re,Do,Mi?

  • I went to Berklee... I guarantee that half the group is not from America!

  • hey adam this is cool.
