  • whats up mate i live in mexico city and i play djembe, darbuca and also cajon but i would love to buy one of ur octa-cajon plz let me know ! nice vid!!!

  • le son est vraiment top!!!!

  • What would be cool is if you could somehow make each eighth of the octagaon have a different pitch. With the middle of course being bass.

  • Hi dimy! I think the bahia beat is nicer for brasilian music as u can use it as a tamtam as well when u take of the snare! only have black ones left though..

please write me an email through my website if you want to order!

    obrigado/valter

  • hi congrats' that was fantastic, I'd like to buy one for my band, we play bossa nova and samba here in brazil, could you tell me which cajon would be the best for this porpose and if they have any different cheers dimy from Santos

  • The pitch of the bass tone? - yes u can either lift it up from the floor wich gives a higher pitch or turn it 90 degrees and cover the sound holes with your heels to lower the bass tone! this makes it possible to play with two "surdo pitches" if that´s what u were looking for!!

    /valter

  • @valteriano

    Nice playing!

Can you post a Baia style Samba-reggae video using the cajon?

    Obrigado!

  • the only thing is..........can you bend the pitch?

  • cool playing on all of your videos!

  • never seen an octa. nice cajon drummin'.

  • Thanks! I´ve invented the name myself so it´s not strange that yu´ve never seen one before. the cajon itself ís also my own design. the Idea was to make a upright cajon with the same attack and snar/bass sound as the flamenco cajon.... I really like the result!
