If this was between an older guy and a young, pubescent girl, the dynamic wouldn't really have worked. It would have screamed L O L I T A. Fortunately, we have strong double standards.
@yellowsneakers234 Eh? That would be borderline paedophilia, and a movie which has (in the US) associations with Disney ain't going to get *that* creepy.
What a beautiful film - real classic from the 80s. I enjoyed Flight of the Navigator more than E.T. Joey Cramer showed brilliant acting. I loved character Max and his sense of humour. It was great to see amazing and so talented Veronica Cartwright.
too bad those government goons kill her. LOLz when she's leaving his parent's house, those two guys corner her and thats the last you see or hear from her.
I'm a freshman in college and I've loved this movie all my life.
I think Carolyne should have actually of been Jennifer Bradley, the girl David had a crush on in the beginning of the movie. It'd show hold old David should of been, and since he asked his dad how to talk to girls in the beginning, talking with an "older" Jennifer like he talked to Caroline may of made him be able to approach the young Jennifer when he went back in time. I think it would have made this movie more interesting.
he does have a 70s look to him and acts like a kid in 70s movies and tv would act. which seemed to work well for this movie! LOVE This movie with all my heart
Aaaw look, it was when she was just a pony :)

Seems odd for an 80s film to acknowledge the existence of the 70s
But I love this film and the 80s but I was born too late to have enjoyed it but my birth year is 1989 thank god
