Yes, last year they did an interview at Millennium after their shows and the attitude of him and her where not compatible at all. She was frustrated and annoyed and Slavik was being well, Slavik. Making comments like "If you (Anna) last another year", and when asked what's it like dancing with Slavik to Anna he said "I'm so terrible ask Karina Smirnoff she'll tell you". Anna just was quiet and polite. She's probably glad to be married and retired from competing.

@gingermist21: IMO Slavik "was" the best male Latin dancer in the world but he is too much about himself and therefore difficult with his partners. If ballroom was individual dancing he would be the outright champion, it's not. It's two people dancing as a unit and in Latin the woman is the picture/focus and the man the frame, Slavik want both or at least be the focus. Karina was able to dampen his selfishness and was the best for him. BTW Anna is beautiful and this a beautiful rumba.

@HM8290 still a very very sad thing I think I may be depressed myself for the rest of the week! but if they stay together professionally, it will not be as bad as breaking up completely personally and professionally. At the end of the day that's their work. I am extremely sad and confused I hope those are just rumors.

@dancerromancer i don't know if they broke up or not, it looks like they did judging from their body language towards each other when they're not dancing..but those are just speculations, I am hoping it is all good between them
