Those coins you hate so much, are gold plated copper, the first edition that came out in 1999, if in good condition are worth about 100 bucks, save them it doesn't take long for them to grow in value.

Well not really, but if you had come out to Long Island by train and bought your ticket from one of the ticket machines at the stations out here, your change would have come back in all dollar coins, lol. I took the train to go in to Manhattan, paid for an 8 dollar ticket with a 20 dollar bill and the machine spit out 12 of those things to me, lol.
