  • looks amazing!!

  • Nintendo really mastered Cel-shading here.

  • Amazing graphics. Some of the best on Gamecube.

  • PCs ftw

  • this has to be the best looking zelda, hd or not.

  • @curseesruc

I strongly agree. This game does not need high definition, nor would it look any better in it, because there is it`s maximum, right there! :)

  • so beautiful :')

  • No Gamecube for Wii U :(

  • @Zeldafan88765

dont be too sure, i think you download them. sucks for those who have GC, but good for me who never got my hands on so many GC games i now want. emulating works poorly

  • this looks phenomenal in high resolution, a testament to nintendo's amazing art direction that it scales up so perfectly. hopefully a future virtual console features upscaled versions of all these games in HD glory!

  • @MattyS54 Let's hope the Wii U will! It should be capable.

  • @jesusluvr07 yeah, but they will have to be remakes/VC, i think nintendo already confirmed it wouldn't upscale existing wii games. kinda poor as this should have been possible, like rendering to 720p at least :(

  • looks truly beautiful

  • i hope we're able to download GameCube games on Wii U's Virtual Console in HD. I bet if Nintendo announced downloadable HD GCN games at next year's E3, everyone would go apeshit.

  • How did you made this HD and can you give me your configuration settings?

  • IF I HAD A DOLLAR FOR EVERY PIXEL IN THIS VIDEO...

    I WOULD BE FUCKING RICH!

  • @KIUBIX3 Huh? the same comment again? ( I saw this at the TP HD video)

  • @RayDeoZa yeah i saw it too and posted here :P

  • It's not the emulator's fault that the game is blurry at far distances. Most game engines nowdays are desighned to increase texture resolution as you get closer to said texture. It's a trick to keep the Video RAM from overloading.

  • 5:35 - The barrel and the rat keep disappearing. 0__L__0

  • @ZombieDeath101 This is because I enabled an option in the emulator called a "Widescreen hack".. it renders the game in a wide aspect ratio, which is nice, but then stuff disappear on the sides because the game wasn't designed to render objects at that resolution. It's wierd but at least it looks nice lol

  • I'd forgotten how awesome this game is, seriously no Zelda game was ever bad, lol except for the Zelda ll where you could jump o.O but hey I never really tried it so :p

  • @WoWPunk1 Zelda 2 was great! People just hate it because of the difficulty.

  • I always think Windwaker looks really good in HD. People say cell shading sucks, but the low detail and textures allow for much higher resolution, and vivid colors. Also Windwaker is like the only Zelda game that runs at 60 fps. I don't see why people hate it; it looks incredible even in 480p!

  • I haven't play this game and I can't find it anywhere.

  • @jose1aztk trust me dude, it is hard to find.

If you live in america the game is on ebay for the cheapest ive ever seen it, same with a uk copy

Ive been trying to get my hands on a copy of this game for months

  • @DarkeExile I just saw it yesterday at La Pulga (flea market) but my broke ass had no money. I was mad because I spent it Ocarina of Time 3DS

  • @jose1aztk haha unlucky, i have ocarina of time on my pc with high resolution mods :p

Saw wind waker on ebay again for really really cheap, had like an hour left but sadly i didnt have a ebay account nor paypal, so i made one and ran out of time before i could buy it :/

  • @DarkeExile that really sucks. I hope I find me a copy of Wind Waker soon.

  • @jose1aztk good luck to you :)

I actually started emulating Wind Waker again today, and im coping with it for the while before i get the actual game. It lags at times but its alright

  • @DarkeExile I just got LOZ Wind Waker today for 25 dollars!

  • Oh dear, it's beautiful. Perhaps I wouldn't mind another cel shaded Zelda for the U.

  • its sad really, even though you own the game, it still isn't legal to do this :( on the other hand, could someone point me in the direction of a ripped windfall island? I would like to have a look at it in maya or 3Ds MAX :D

  • @tarrizzzzzzzzz it IS legal if you own the game. If you own the game you can do whatever you want with it. Reverse-engineering a device (like a gamecube) and making an emulator out of it is also legal (as long as it doesn't have any copywrited code). Distributing ISO's and BIOS's without permission however is illegal.

  • @9a3eedi my understanding is, it is only legal to backup and do that sorta things to your games on the computer :S anyway, i am currently trying to rip the model for windfall island :/ I wanna mess around with it in maya, and perhaps integrate it in a FPS we're making :p figured it was actually quite the map to play FPS on :D imagine, playing a game similar to CoD or CS on windfall island!

  • Amazing!

  • this doesn't look like true 16x9, everything is stretched to be fatter.

  • I came buckets.

  • i see the Sound is Off on your Game by ALOT :-(

  • @OGITHsVideos It's mostly off sync in cutscenes. Sound is pretty hard to emulate in realtime I guess.

  • HOW DID YOU DO THAT!? ITS 16:9!? AND ITS A GAMECUBE GAME!? O_O

    THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!

  • @ZeldaMaster2010 the emulator has a hack that allows 3D games to be rendered in 16:9. it doesn't work very well though but it's good enough. Not sure if you notice but on the edge of the screens sometimes some objects disappear.

  • @9a3eedi uhm what? I'm playing wind waker on my gamecube right now (on my flatscreen), and it's 16:9? :S

  • @tarrizzzzzzzzz your TV stretches the image (and as a result either everyone looks fat, or the game looks distorted on the edges).. It's not "true" 16:9.

  • @ZeldaMaster2010 if you want 16:9 and good quality with hd pvr i could help you if you want a plugin to use in editing program is magic bullet instant hd its very good and it makes the video look like hd :)

  • Haha, I had to comment on this one as well. I have the fix for the blurry distance. it makes a WORLD of difference. Seriously it almost looks like a different game. I don't remember the exact file to edit off the top of my head, but I can check if you are interested.

  • @xps400mediacenter yeah this video is old lol. I already have the fix for the blurry distance. I also had problems with the Dragon Roost temple but I fixed that. Man this game looks really great on Dolphin :D

  • @9a3eedi Only 3 months haha. Yeah I remember the Dragon Roost problem, but I never bothered fixing it. You're right though on my 23'' monitor @1080p it just looks awesome.
