  • Well aren't you just a little smartypants. Being all grown up and giving out detailed comments. To bad I posted that comment over a year ago, so I could careless what you have to say your just fun to argue with, what to you so long.

  • I like the open top casket, he looks peaceful and looks like hes smiling:)

  • Abby its called Angel Wings, by Marisa. Its on youtube actually :)

  • i love this song what the name of it ?

  • so sorry for your loss, but yes, you'll see him in heaven one day.

  • for me as an Austrian it is very unfamiliar to see that the family takes a picture with the dead person. in Austria it even isn't common to have open coffins.

  • Beautiful family, tribute and man. Bless you.

  • whats this song called i love it

  • how did he past away

  • Jetzt ruht Er in Frieden.Ich wünsche der Familie alles Gute, vor allem Gesundheit.LG aus Deutschland.C

  • I wish I knew my Father so I have someone to miss.

  • No more suffering..he's at peace watching over u...until that day

  • Very sad, service looked peaceful and beautiful RIP

  • sad :(

  • in my eyes losing my dad was d worst thing possible in my whole life he died 1999 everyday i think abt him even dream abt him i knw hes my guardian angel. my darling mum is still alive age 67 i live with her follow her cos am so scared of losing her i dread d day if anythin ever happened 2 her i dnt think i would be alive

  • I'm very sorry for your loss. You might have a chance to see him again.

  • @xXTROPHIESXx wot do u mean might ehhhh HE WILL C HIM AGAIN INFACT ALWAYS!!! guardian angels r all around n i bet this wonderful dad is 1 of d guardian angels

  • My most sincere respects from Germany, as I lost my mum way to early I know how you feel..take care...I will keep you in my prayers

  • This is clearly a sensitively prepared video tribute to your father. It's so obvious you aren't just mourning his passing, you are also celebrating his existence.Back in Victorian times,a photo of a deceased loved 1 was the only 'proof' that person existed,& it was popular tribute. Why should we be any different today? And,as you say,not all of your father's loved ones could attend the funeral. There's nothing 'macabre' or dis-respectful about this at all.R.I.P your father!

  • @popazz1 -That's a really good way of explaining it, nicely done. Dead people shouldn't give the living, "the willies" b/c they are just that....... dead people.

  • @AnimalGuardian71 ,Thanks. My parents died within 15 months of each other when I was in my early 20s,back in the early 80s,& I learned pretty quickly that the dead aren't to be feared. And,those who DO have an 'issue' with these kinds of videos, just 1 question,Why do they watch them? Morbid curiosity? Probably. If people don't 'agree' with the video-ing of these 'private' moments, then they don't have to view them!

  • @popazz1 - I don't even want to think what it's like to lose your parents. :( I'm lucky mine are both still here for now, but of course inevitably that day will come. I guess you and I have different views on death than others. There's nothing creepy about it to me, and as a matter of fact, was a trauma nurse for years. So I was able to be with many, many people when they moved on. Holding their hands, reassuring them, etc. Quite peaceful really.

  • @AnimalGuardian71 ,

With you all the way on that! My work in residential nursing afforded me the absolute privilege of being with those who's time was ready to go forward,to wherever they were going.No-one's passing should go un-noticed.Mourn if you need to,it's a natural process, but celebrate as well.

  • @popazz1 - Well put :)

  • @AnimalGuardian71 ,

    Thanks,sweetie! : )

  • I think it is a good thing to be able to do for your family. If people dont want to see it then dont click it. If this is what helps the family come to terms with a loss then why would any normal person have a problem with it?

I am sorry for your families loss and thank you for sharring it with us.

  • RIP

  • i wish i would have put my daughter viewing on youtube, because she didnt even look like she was dead. she just looked like she was sleeping. she was so peaceful & beautiful. she was laying on her side in the casket as she would have been in her own bed.. the funeral homes do a great job.. they helped me thur my daughter passing and the process.. i have a picture of my daughter after she died, and in the picture is a full angle figure.. its amazing.. to see her spirit angle..

  • @alaitain I am so sorry for your loss! She is now with Jesus!

  • @alaitain My Word so so sorry for your loss, I am a father of 2 beautiful boys, to see either of them in a coffin is not something I can or want to omprehend, may god bless you and your daughter XX

  • There is never any words that can express the loss of a person who was a part in the miracle who made you everything you became to be. To me losing my dad was like he had left a whole that will never be able to be filled or any other man to take his place. I still feel lost. I took care of him up until the very end. God bless you.

  • my dad died to

  • bec, my mom and my sister and brother and most of my relatives cant make it on his funeral. this is the only way they can watch it. most of them dont have youtube account. since you can watch it in here without signing up, i guess its better this way. i also embed this video on my dad's site that i made. thanks.

  • @sugarkisses1202 I am so sorry for your loss!

  • @sugarkisses1202

I am sorry for ur loss, but I find it horrible to get pictures done beside a dead person and put it up on youtube, you can create a video and send it to ur relatives via email, or in a cd, or u can do a memorial video, but not with pictures of ur dead father in it, its horrible!!

  • @verosanzmc Blow it out your butt. Who installed you as the "Proper Way to Show Grief Sheriff?" I am a complete stranger to these people yet I was moved to tears by the level of love and respect that this family showed this man. When my wife died I would have loved for her unquenchable spirit to have been memorialized in this fashion. Instead, her children quibbled over who picked up her ashes and who got what jewelry. The loss of my wife, their Mother, became a secondary issue in my eyes.

  • @sugarkisses1202 I was wondering the same thing about filming and putting it on youtube. Thanks for explaining. You took beautiful photos, for the purpose they have.

  • @gotogta really?? have you ever thought that its a grieving process? perhaps it helped her to come to terms with her loss... And perhaps she wanted to share with therld how amazing her daddy was in her eyes...

  • @gotogta

I merely believe that everyone has a different way of dealing with the passing of a loved One, and there is absolutely nothing wrong, sharing this on you tube, the video is done very tasteful.

  • @gotogta My heart goes out to U and your family. But just kinda wondering what do you think your father would have thought about you posting this video? My father passed away Feb.2010 and my mom passed away in 1995 my whole family is gone. So I understand way to well the loss of a loved one. It hurts all the time, but the peace of course is knowing one day we will be with them again.

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE idk, you asked the wrong person. :)

  • @gotogta Oh so sorry

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE Do you not realize that the Federal Government has a very similar site for the military men and women who participated in WW II yet have passed on? It is a Memorial which will live on for all family and friends to "gather" around from time to time and reflect on the life and times of someone whom they respected and loved. I stumbled across this without really realizing what it was. I was moved by the passion and compassion which this family held for their Father. God Bless them.

  • @gotogta See, he did it so the rest of his family could say goodbye.

I bet you'll think before asking a question like that again won't you :)

  • @JurisArcane No, because asking questions is how you LEARN THINGS. Made you should think before posting a comment.

  • @gotogta

Yeah but you weren't asking so that you could learn. You were being a self-righteous prick, voicing a nasty opinion in the "form" of a question. Which coincidentally, is why you probably don't learn much in life. Go ahead and argue with me, prove me right :)

  • @JurisArcane Again, no. I wanted to know why they would put it on YouTube, how was I to know they had family somewhere else. There's no tone in the comment either, the only reason you made a comment, is because i probably offended you in some way. Maybe the owner of this video didn't take it that way. Calling me a righteous prick is stupid when your the one making an argument over a simple comment. Thank you for your concern, and feel free to comment back. Cause I know you will. :)

  • @gotogta LoL@ "feel free to comment back". Do you know why people say that? 1.) They know the person is likely going to comment back, but somehow, because you predicted the inevitable, you're gonna look smart at the end of all this. 2.) You'd like to get out of the conversation by giving me the option of not replying, at the expense of letting you have the last word.

Here's a better question. Why would you, come and watch a video like this, then ask someone why they would upload it? :)

  • @gotogta Oh, and if you'd like a simple answer to your question, I'll give it to you. They uploaded it, because it's Youtube. There are literally billions of videos of any subject matter you can think of on this network. Does it really surprise you that someone uploaded a funeral? Is this just the most "puzzling" and"outlandish" thing you've ever seen? Oh my, yes. You're just that curious aren't you. And no you didn't offend me. I just don't like critics who play dumb when confronted.

  • May God bless you and your family. remember the happy times and evevrthing he taught you God makes no mistakes

by looking at the family theres alot of love

  • Beautiful and touching...so sad for your' loss. My little sis passed right before my eyes April 26th. I know that it is neccessary to be in a hospital's care and yet all the tubes and wires and stuff is just so undignified somehow. It becomes more of that and less of soul and love and family. We never left her side, someone was always there...looks like your' Father was much loved as well..bless you and yours'.
