Why can't everyone just be given subsidies to go out and buy hybrid cars NOW. No banned from not buying hybrid cars. You could halve oil consumption by cars at a stroke. The bloody hummer gets 10 miles to the gallon. Meanwhile GM talks about what it will do in 2 years after dragging its feet for decades.
