  • "an assortment of balls" ohh annie.

  • Interviewers should be more like her. She's relaxed, and it's more a conversation than some nervous sweaty faced dude breathing heavily into a microphone.

  • People who said they didn't like this interview must not have watched past the first two minutes or something, cause it was funny whether this interviewer was serious or not.

  • The Interviewer is hilarious!!!! :D

  • This is one of the most boring interviews I've ever seen. But now I have to finish watching it. Damn it. Because of Annie. And that's it. And that's all.

  • Actually, Annie, you are supposed to look at the elbow for the best high-five. There. Something I can teach St. Vincent.

  • this interviewer is in Nardwar territory. Like Nardwar without all the background info.

  • This was a pretty decent interview, but the guy wasn't feelin it. Annie was cool and played along.

  • she's the most dangerous surreal extract, more than she is an interviewer.

  • "it's hot here... makes you want ice cream."

lol, genius, lol I love these interviews.

  • lol at the mysterious "burrrrn" @ 11:29

  • @IndonesiaNegaraKu bahahaha

  • this interview is great! In an interview, I want the interviewer to reveal the personalities of the musicians, not have the musicians repeat a litany of tour dates or shell out generic drivel speaking to "inspiration for the track/album," and Sharlese does this exceptionally well here.

  • love sharlese's awkward/dry humor-esque! very funny.

  • i actually like how non-formal the interview is. very candid.

  • "we're gonna get an assortment of balls" i laughed immediately too! hahhahahha

  • Annie is soo pretty ! ;D <3

  • This is the goofiest interview ever.

  • horribly awkward, I laughed a lot at this. Also, nice Like Water For Chocolate reference @ 5:43

  • this interview looks painful..which is sad bse i love annie and daniel.

  • I think Sharlese is excellent. I have been watching this for the third time. I think she presents that human attitudeand great comic timing, and her vulnerability gets out some very rare reactions.

  • I don't think that the interviewer came prepared, or maybe she's nervous. I think she's in the twilight zone!

  • Wow...wow.

  • haha! this painful to watch at times. i love the awkwardness lol and their reactions to it!

  • The interview isn't that bad if you actually pay attention to it... I mean the interviewer is terrible but still...

  • WTF with the high fives... that interviewer fails.... its more like they are interviewing her...

  • Annie 0:08-0:13

  • worst. interviewer. ever.

  • she's a great interviewer for me cause even with this childishly naive way of interrogating band members she manages to drag out a more character tone from the two musicians. most of the music interviews are dumb cause people dont go from their own interests so the questions always end up in the same 'future plans, life on tour, current hype' gutter.

  • Soon after the interview was over...

Daniel: "Wow, that was a horribly awkward interview."

Annie: "She should get another job."

    Daniel: "Haha! My thoughts exactly!"

    Daniel + Annie: "High Five!"

    CLAP!

  • My only goal in life is to make it as an indie rock superstar and get interviewed by DJ Sharlese.

  • @johnh5304 high five?

  • UP TOP!!!

  • Horrible interviewer, really just awful. I have seen her in a few others and they are always painful to watch.

  • Annie's face after Sharlese said no to hi fives was classic

  • TTTEEERRRRIBLE INTERVIEWER

  • i thought the interviewer was really sweet. so what if she is a little awkward, you can tell annie is enjoying her.

  • why is the interviewer so horrible and awkward

  • No kidding....

  • seriously i really love this woman

  • i like this interview. it was more like a cool conversation of... everything and nothing

  • oh! its fun! i'm so glad i thought it was depressing. *snorts*

  • ahahahaha...

This was so incredibly awkward, but in the best possible way. High Five.

  • legendary lmao!!!

  • this woman interviews people for a living?

    ...The fuck!

  • teehee

  • I think they smoked a joint right before this interview

  • i think so too

  • @jthomasbailey I hate being high around awkward people because the awkwardness is 29034823049823049x more awkward :/

  • Perception is a funny thing. Annie loves Sharlese. In fact, they had a great time!

  • annie is so uncomfortable here, haha i dont blame her

  • Is that a joke??? that would be awesome, but if it is a real interview, oh my.....

  • Wow. . . this woman is the equivalent of Chris Farley interview skit. Moron.

  • that interviewer is so boring and shite. at least she has a face for the radio tho

  • love that black woman.

  • this is what happens when interviews want musicians to be thier friends and thier too nervous to be people or interviewers. yet it was still informative, good background by said interviewer i guess. Who am I to judge anyway? Just some ass out in cyber space.

  • This is sooo awkward. I love it.

  • it's kind of the point

  • The interviewer is painfully awkward, but they are great once she let's them talk.

  • They're tooo cute.

  • Wow! what a horrible interview. Totally uninteresting in every

way. Does DJ Sharlese really have a job in radio? - amazing
