  • Well, it may be too late for Gladys...she died in California around the end of 2011, and I don't know if that bill ever passed.

  • RUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know him

  • Thank god for "marginal" venues like National Enquirer TV for clips like this. Gladys deserved better!

  • I could not agree more

  • I'm glad that this seagment was done. I HATE FAKE singing groups!!!!!

  • RIP, Gladys Horton

  • I hv seen other groups perform & they hv sd that they ARE NOT THE ORIGINALS...which if u see how young they look u would be crazy to think that they were ORIGINALS. But they sound excellent & put on a great show in honor of the Original Groups & they would like to continue the sound for the kids out here now who do not know what REAL MUSIC is. All the cursing & degrading of women in this new music that is out there is horrible, so since most of the originals are deceased I prefer these groups.

  • I think there were many merky dealings going on at Motown, the way the Funk Brothers were jettisoned is shameful, great era in music and lots of great artists who in the end came second to the power of the dollar. A sad but true reflection on life and what is really important to the world MONEY. Not in my heart the artist and the music is most important !KTF

  • The bad guy here in the Motown executive who gambled away the Marvelettes name on a lark in card game. And lost. Such incredible disrespect and heartless cruelty to the very people who brought him fame and fortune. So much about Motown is tawdry. Charging artists for studio time and recording them so much they could never hope to pay for it. Denying Florence and Martha the right to even refer to the names of their groups when they left.

    Disgusting.

  • i would rather here Ms.Gladys sing any day over all the other singers i just turned 19 and i have been listening to please mister postman for about 4 years and it still hasn't gotten old to me..love the oldies.....

  • I'm GLAD Legislation was FINALLY passed to fine all those "Imposters" out there fooling the public, but sadly, this protection came a little too late for stars like Gladys Horton- THE REAL THING!

  • How sad that Gladys wasn't able to perform live muchmore than she did.

Thank you for posting this clip.
