ok just to start off I actually enjoyed GT. I thought it was a fun series but it was targeting the younger audience. but even though I liked it, this video was fucking awesome. I agree with absolutely everything that was said. and it was extremely well put together. but aside all the terrible things about GT, I think it was all worth watching just to see gogetta ssj4. just pure awesomeness.
Pan was annoying extremely annoying. I hated her the moment that she hit the blast off button on the ship. She took away the opportunity for Goten to have some serious character development not to mention if Goten went instead of Pan the Gotenks could have been a great help in their travels. Pan is one of the worst things about this series

you forgot about what a disappointment Trunks turned out to be. I know he grew up in times of piece but come on.!!!! I mean I loved and I mean LOVED Future Trunks, like boarder line obsessive, and I was all excited when GT came out because Trunks was all grown up and I thought he was gonna be just like Future Trunks and he was gonna be in the whole GT series instead of just a few sagas. But no, GT Trunks turned out to be pathetic and good for nothing but fixing gadgets and getting the crap kick

Oke i think I got an explanation (wrong spelled) for Vegeta wanting to fuse immediatly when he is SSJ 4. Cuz SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta suposed to be the same Power Levels to Fuse.
But Gohan, Goten, Trunks gave Goku more power (all of them power). So Goku had more power levels then Vegeta! Like Gohan explained you need to be the exact power level to Fuse.
But Goku was fighting Omega Shenron longer then Vegeta. So he was exhausted and weaker. So Goku and Vegeta had the exactpowerLVL. So theyFused

@ripo789 I hate to argue in favor of GT logic but the eyebrows think with SS4 is because they don't need to attain the other levels of Super Saiyan to reach it. SS4 isn't even the same style of transformation, it's more in line with their great ape form.

Goku is someone, as proven by Dragon Ball Z, someone who likes to test their opponents and have fun in the fight. He doesn't fight for victory like Vegeta, who, as you would have noticed, went full power to try and fight against Baby Gohan.
It's easy to critisize, but it's difficult to make plots for a new series of something without reading the prior manga or at least watch the anime series. They did epic guess work.

There are a lot of negative comments on this, but I thought you raised some good points. You have to realize though, that you're pointing out the flaws in something that people don't think is good to begin with, but some of this is still fairly insightful
I like to think Ledgic was an ex-mercenary for Frieza who quit when he died and trained during the years.
Even though the Shadow Dragons are pure evil, Goku almost never finishes someone off immediately, he always gives them a chance of redemption.
Gogeta fooled around because he needed Omega to create a negative ball, so Gogeta could make it positive and rid the world of the negative energy. He tries to kill Omega afterward but he de-fuses.
And Shenron doesn't kill Goku, just keeps his body

In all truthfulness, the Dragon saga in GT could be compared to the Buu saga in Z based on how the resources were squandered. Compare the use the concept of a Deus ex Machina to supercharge a non-Goku character (Mystic Gohan and SSJ4 Vegeta) which gets wasted. The concept of fusions once again being wasted (Gotenks, Vegetto and now Gogeta) and at the end of the day, the spirit bomb saves all.
@shmikex sort of Disagree... It's pretty normal for a battle to drag on. The battles with Buu with Fusions and Mystic Gohan are not really Different from the battle with Frieza. Something just happened to change the tide of the battle once again putting them at the disadvantage. GT on the other hand just seems to be made up episode by episode without any real plot.

It felt like there was so much potential wasted on bad writing, unlikable characters, and horrible contradictions from the original and the Z series. I refuse to accept it as canon.
To make things worse, Nicktoons decides to re-run the series. So now we have the "pleasure" of seeing it all over again.
I feel you 100% about the DBGT saga. I feel as if they half assed the concept, plot, everything in GT as metaphor as to how humans live on this planet now. If you could understand where I'm coming. But that statement can be considered vague..
You know, as much as the additional super saiyan forms cheapened the first one, at least ascended required shitloads of training, 2 made the user into a rage machine even moreso than 1, and 3 drained the user's energy like a triple-cunted hooker on a lonely fourteen year old. 4 has hardly any weaknesses besides the bizarre method needed to achieve it and eschews the whole iconic aesthetic of Super Saiyans essentially being embodiments of primal energy for a bad furry look.
@KiraKorotome I don't know much about the Dragon Ball Online story aside from the fact that it takes place like what? 150 years after Z and it ignores GT. I'll probably comment more on it if it ever actually gets localized which seems unlikely at this point.

Apparently Trunks after the Return to the Future Special is trying to stop this evil villain douche from destroying the entire universe by use of time. Trunks then travels to the future to find warriors (players) to become stronger through time to defeat him. At the same time, they go through DB to DBZ fights and quests
I could never watch GT all the way through because it was so bad. The stories were more redundant and were just echoes/shadows of what Z was. Even the animation looked older than the last half of Z's run. It's weird.
Goku becoming a kid was a regression of character. Did like Trunks and Pan, but Pan couldn't become a super saiyan because she was only a 1/4 saiyan. *smh*

But honestly, I've never found something being a kid's show as an excuse for it to not make sense or be bad. Well it is suppose to be more closer to the manga, but there are filler aspects of the story we liked, because the original as it is has more drama and suspense, which does not exist in the manga or to a less extent. Surprise is more detailed, but not drama or suspense.
I do say that if they were going to remake DBZ, they should do so in a way that would incorporate the movies and use someone known to be good at writing a fantasy-science fiction story and give him plenty of time.
The truth is I have sought to do this myself, but the story is so much different from the original. But in a good way. Raditz is more important, more Z-fighters (a lot of them are girls in the series or movies), more bad guys turning good, more drama and suspense, more humor (but not stupid), Teen Pan who's body frame is similar to Bulma from Dragonball, lesser DBZ characters are more important, better personalities for character, Gohan does not become lame. ect...
Other aspects revealed are there are no plot holes, the world is more similar to OUR own. Humans are explained to be colonist race invented by the Zhori, which are gray skin humanoids from Andromeda that created humans in their image, they are also refer to as the Annunaki. There is also a bird type of race that is commonly seen with them. They (the Zhori) are capable of mating with humans or saiyans. As the Zhori allow more autonomy to races under their rule, they in turn came...
came under the influence of the Icer Planetary Merchant Empire, which gathers wealth under the control of planet and resources it can acquire, which it in turn places fierce tyrannical law and control over those that become its dependents either as subjects of the worlds they conquer or dependent off the resources that the Icers are willing to provide. Vegeta (formally Plant) becomes one of these dependent plants and serves under the authority of Frieza (an Icer despot).
The Zhori which are militarily superior to the Icers had originally been able to keep the Icer activities from becoming so Tyrannical and instead act as overseer benevolent federation over various worlds within the Milky Way. This changed under the rule of Imperator Kold and his children. Frieza by the way is a girl and decided to do that because there was even less female villains than female heroes in the series. Plus having a strong and important female villain is good change.
However, Kold's activities had never really register on the Zhor'i Empire's concerns largely due to the harsh enforce secrecy Kold has placed on his subjects so he can continue ruling as dictator over them without the Zhor'i knowing about it. Truth is they already did, but the Zhor'i have any interesting and funny way of getting back at someone. They do it at the most inconvenient and embarrassing moment, like on Earth when Frieza is about to destroy it as revenge against Goku.
So the Divine Empress of the Zhor'i people and strongest fighter in the entire universe (stronger than SSJ4 Gogeta) presents herself in front of King Kold and Frieza and both are completely unaware of who she is until she transforms until an Omniscient, which is basically the same as a Super Saiyan, except with white hair and blue eyes. She happens to be Bra, a recycled character from GT I placed instead of Trunks, because I felt it was more appropriate. Plus more girls that fight.
I did the same thing with Pan, I placed as Gohan's sister, not his daughter. And I made Gohan a Bio-Android prototype for bebi who was made using the genetic material from Bardock. Bardock who by the way was raised on Planet Plant and by the Truffles, he was regretfully part of the reason for how the Saiyans exterminated the Truffles, a scare more more deep than the lost of his comrads years later. Gohan is an adopted child and his truths of his power is near equal to Bra.
Android 18 and Android 17 have a much bigger role and it explains why they are stronger than Frieza much more better than being creations of Dr. Gero, when Dr. Gero's technology couldn't even scratch a much less powerful Saiyan child. This is also tied to Zangya and makes Zangya, Bojack, Tapion, the Kaioshins, Android 18 and Android 17 members of the same species. A precursor to the Zhori called the Shintenma or God-Demons.
The Shintenma are a species older than the Universe that had came from another Universe as a means to survive its collapse. It others they had been around so long that the prior Universe had collapse into a black hole and then exploded and expanded once more into a new Universe. It is relevant to the Big Crush theory and the one civilization that had survived this was the Shintenma, which began to rule over the newly formed younger universe.
Eventually, the Shintenma empire fell into the decline under the mishandling of Emperor Bojack. Eventually, some of the Shintenma began to fled into another Universe, which they settled on Planet Konats. Emperor Bojack sought to end this disturbance in his Empire and thus triggered a civil War. The ruling council had rebelled against Bojack and sealed him in a pocket Universe, similar to the Hyberbolic Chamber, which their people also created. This council became the Kaioshin.
Zangya, the daughter of Bojack and his heir was also sealed up, to prevent another Tyrannical ruler, even though she isn't evil, well in this version. She is maniacal and deviant, as well as a pedophile, but she isn't evil. Zangya's personality in my story is similar to Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo. Her behavior is also quite similar. The next characters Android 17 and 18 were actually ruling siblings of Konats that were sent to Earth under the mistake of a tested device.
Doctor Gero, who stumbles upon them as frozen fossils in the Tundra of Greenland develops his plans secretly from the Red Ribbon Army to create the perfect Android Warrior, which eventually leads to Cell.
Doctor Gero by the way is a Cro-Magnon, a precursor and failed form of humanity created by the Zhor'i to colonize the Earth. The Cro-Magnons had built Atlantis, but destroyed in a flood of a nuclear holocaust. This also explains Dr. Gero's sociopathy, brilliance, and insanity.
Since their decline, the Cro-Magnons have sought to bring themselves back into power through very secretive and occult like organizations, one which we call but really isn't called the Illuminati. Their aim is to create a New World Order and had in various ages in our history, such as during WWII and the creation of the Roman Empire as well as the Mongolian Empire. In more recent development, they are using the International Bank of Monetary Settlements in Basel, Switzerland.
However, their hopes are dashed when the Zhor'i in late of 2012 prevent this (again), but in the manner of terminating the Autonomy they have handed to humanity. This prevents the Cro-Magnons from gaining control, but in their furious temper they enact on a new organization, a military army to control the world, which starts off small, but grows quite large in the upcoming centuries known as the Red Ribbon Army. It doesn't truly hit off until the Zhori hand over autonomy again.
This can also explain Gero's determination and insanity in killing Goku. As a Cro-Magnon, he is bent on exterminating all extraterrestrial presence, as a result of the Zhor'i shutting their prior attempt of regaining control over the Earth. You see, the Cro-Magnons believe the Earth belongs to them. They are the supreme race, which of course out of that they fabricated all sorts of white-supremist bullcrap, like the Aryan myth.
And as a descendent of these Cro-Magnons, Dr. Gero feels it is his birth right to take over the world and exterminate any extraterrestrials that get in his way, which his forefathers would have wanted. This is why Dr. Gero is obsess with killing Goku. And the entire Red Ribbon Army is made up of Cro-Magnons and those who sympathize with their cause such as stupid humans that buy into their Aryan myth.
Another important factor is that the series I had sought to create, which I described a small bit to you, is not called Dragonball, but Legacy of the Arch Drakons, which involves the Dragonballs, but is centered of the series like Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Tien, Zangya, 18, Gohan, and Bra, not the Dragonballs.

Few things my good sir,
First it would be wise to work on editing, your skip in the shots of you a few times.
Second if you are going to wear a blazer with the Cobra insignia on it don't wear another article of clothing blocking it.
Third wearing a undershirt with a blazer and not having a proper neck decoration is crass and against the "stylized villain" look you like.

Gohan, in DBZ, having had his full potential unlocked by the elder kai, was unable to turn into super saiyan. Yet in DBGT, he does it. How?
Saiyans aren't supposed to be able to change their hairstyle, unless their hair get damaged like it might had been the case for Nappa. Yet Vegeta managed to do it in DBGT. How?
Uub at the end of DBZ was nearly a good match for Goku in his base form and seemed powerful. Yet in DBGT, he seems to be so weak. Training with Goku makes you weaker or what?

I like to think Ledgic was an ex-mercenary for Frieza who quit when he died and trained during the years.
Even though the Shadow Dragons are pure evil, Goku almost never finishes someone off immediately, he always gives them a chance of redemption.
Gogeta fooled around because he needed Omega to create a negative ball, so Gogeta could make it positive and rid the world of the negative energy. He tries to kill Omega afterward but he de-fuses.
And Shenron doesn't kill Goku, just keeps his body

In all truthfulness, the Dragon saga in GT could be compared to the Buu saga in Z based on how the resources were squandered. Compare the use the concept of a Deus ex Machina to supercharge a non-Goku character (Mystic Gohan and SSJ4 Vegeta) which gets wasted. The concept of fusions once again being wasted (Gotenks, Vegetto and now Gogeta) and at the end of the day, the spirit bomb saves all.

@shmikex sort of Disagree... It's pretty normal for a battle to drag on. The battles with Buu with Fusions and Mystic Gohan are not really Different from the battle with Frieza. Something just happened to change the tide of the battle once again putting them at the disadvantage. GT on the other hand just seems to be made up episode by episode without any real plot.

I honestly hated anything GT, with the exception of the Super saiyan 4.
It felt like there was so much potential wasted on bad writing, unlikable characters, and horrible contradictions from the original and the Z series. I refuse to accept it as canon.
To make things worse, Nicktoons decides to re-run the series. So now we have the "pleasure" of seeing it all over again.

You know, as much as the additional super saiyan forms cheapened the first one, at least ascended required shitloads of training, 2 made the user into a rage machine even moreso than 1, and 3 drained the user's energy like a triple-cunted hooker on a lonely fourteen year old. 4 has hardly any weaknesses besides the bizarre method needed to achieve it and eschews the whole iconic aesthetic of Super Saiyans essentially being embodiments of primal energy for a bad furry look.

Apparently Trunks after the Return to the Future Special is trying to stop this evil villain douche from destroying the entire universe by use of time. Trunks then travels to the future to find warriors (players) to become stronger through time to defeat him. At the same time, they go through DB to DBZ fights and quests

I could never watch GT all the way through because it was so bad. The stories were more redundant and were just echoes/shadows of what Z was. Even the animation looked older than the last half of Z's run. It's weird.
Goku becoming a kid was a regression of character. Did like Trunks and Pan, but Pan couldn't become a super saiyan because she was only a 1/4 saiyan. *smh*

Well it is suppose to be more closer to the manga, but there are filler aspects of the story we liked, because the original as it is has more drama and suspense, which does not exist in the manga or to a less extent. Surprise is more detailed, but not drama or suspense.
I do say that if they were going to remake DBZ, they should do so in a way that would incorporate the movies and use someone known to be good at writing a fantasy-science fiction story and give him plenty of time.

Raditz is more important, more Z-fighters (a lot of them are girls in the series or movies), more bad guys turning good, more drama and suspense, more humor (but not stupid), Teen Pan who's body frame is similar to Bulma from Dragonball, lesser DBZ characters are more important, better personalities for character, Gohan does not become lame. ect...

The Zhori which are militarily superior to the Icers had originally been able to keep the Icer activities from becoming so Tyrannical and instead act as overseer benevolent federation over various worlds within the Milky Way. This changed under the rule of Imperator Kold and his children. Frieza by the way is a girl and decided to do that because there was even less female villains than female heroes in the series. Plus having a strong and important female villain is good change.

So the Divine Empress of the Zhor'i people and strongest fighter in the entire universe (stronger than SSJ4 Gogeta) presents herself in front of King Kold and Frieza and both are completely unaware of who she is until she transforms until an Omniscient, which is basically the same as a Super Saiyan, except with white hair and blue eyes. She happens to be Bra, a recycled character from GT I placed instead of Trunks, because I felt it was more appropriate. Plus more girls that fight.

I did the same thing with Pan, I placed as Gohan's sister, not his daughter. And I made Gohan a Bio-Android prototype for bebi who was made using the genetic material from Bardock. Bardock who by the way was raised on Planet Plant and by the Truffles, he was regretfully part of the reason for how the Saiyans exterminated the Truffles, a scare more more deep than the lost of his comrads years later. Gohan is an adopted child and his truths of his power is near equal to Bra.

Android 18 and Android 17 have a much bigger role and it explains why they are stronger than Frieza much more better than being creations of Dr. Gero, when Dr. Gero's technology couldn't even scratch a much less powerful Saiyan child. This is also tied to Zangya and makes Zangya, Bojack, Tapion, the Kaioshins, Android 18 and Android 17 members of the same species. A precursor to the Zhori called the Shintenma or God-Demons.
