I think a lot of you kids who argue on these videos fail to realize-those of us who ride sportbikes own cars too. It's more about physics than anything. These bikes (stock) can out perform nearly every car in every way and the few cars (less than 10) capable of out running them in any condition cost soo much that a rather sizable home, a car and a motorcycle could be purchased. And at the end of the day they are in different classes. Enjoy both and quit whining.
@jtcarwile Err... not exactly. Many modified cars can outrun these (and of course the one here could kill the R6 if the gears were not shifted with fuel consumption in mind). This is because of: better starting grip, better balance, better braking. Even in poorly motorized cars I've always made a mockery of drivers in corners. ALWAYS. Plus, driving a car statistically helps you live longer. That said, bikes are awesome for the sensation not necessarily the performance.

By the time you are on par with a bike in any car you have spent a great deal of money. As far as living longer there are so many ridiculous statistics on how to live longer. ANYTHING knows the gains are made in cornering and braking, least of all acceleration. bikes are done at 165ish 170. quarter mile.. bikes win due to power to weight raito but on a race like this all the car has to do is get in 6th and rely on its aerodynamics to catch up.
i still say the r6 won, it only lost because it hit its top speed and couldnt go any faster, like someone else said, if it were an r1 or had a larger engine size, it would accelerate roughly the same but have a higher top speed
A bikes top speed is limited to about 160 MPH. Of course the lambo one if the race is 100 miles long. Throw a quater mile or some twistes in there and the lambo won't stand a chance.

I ride an R6, and there FAST, top end though just isn't up to par with a v12 motor. R6 only has 4 cylinders lol and so much power, an R1 is better for a top end race but then again, you need alot of road to get to the top speed in a lambo...so all an all if a lambo wants to take the bike on from light to light, the bike has it all day IF the rider can launch it :) a bike is a bike FACT and a Lambo is a Lambo Fact

@jsleeper81 Most of the problem is that your back acts like an airfoil above 190 or so mph, so if you're not wearing the right aero you will generate lift and the bike will wobble out of control. That's why the manufacturers agreed to cap their top speeds, it was just getting too dangerous.
That, and there's no reason you need to be going 250 on a bike, by 150 you've already smoked 99.99% of the cars you'll ever roll up next to :D

@robertmike219 Turbo 'Busa will outrun plenty of cars, but then you eliminate its capability to be effective on the (non-drag strip) track - the turbo makes it much less responsive, and means that your power is a lot harder to use. A turbo Busa will outrun most anything in a straight line but you can buy a Radical for fairly cheap (car-wise) and it will kill Busa's around tracks, especially the more technical / tighter ones.
Don't get me wrong though, I love bikes - I ride an '09 R6!

@TheHavoc09 remember bikes do it at a fraction of the cost. any jap litre bike costs about $17-18k AUD. throw 20k of go fast bits on it (mainly suspension and exhuast and dyno tuning) and watch it kill the car and still cost less. also with the 20k of work it will have a chance in corners against the car (if someone that knows how to drive is driving).

by finally catching up in its last ( 6th ) gear, R6 is stock only able to do 175 180 maybe , cars are made with basicly over drive to go faster the R6 gets to 180 really quick though and can primaily turn good on top of how hard it pulls in a drag its made to winde out gears at even full lean and stops on a dime its 350lbs and 125hp ( at fraction of a single hourses weight lol ) plus a different experience then a car completly but cool video nontheless , now i know i can beat a lambo on my R6

this is why I like bikes it cost 3-6k to have a bike that keeps up with any car on the road at least on the track top speed exotic are built for this this is why bike don't hang at the 230mph mark like few exotics do but bike get to 180-190mph a whole lot faster than anything unless its a rocket lol my only problem with this video is the car riding the bike he should have been wearing gear a helmet is not enough don't get me wrong at those speeds you ain't got much a chance any way but damn.

@jsleeper81 Most of the problem is that your back acts like an airfoil above 190 or so mph, so if you're not wearing the right aero you will generate lift and the bike will wobble out of control. That's why the manufacturers agreed to cap their top speeds, it was just getting too dangerous.
That, and there's no reason you need to be going 250 on a bike, by 150 you've already smoked 99.99% of the cars you'll ever roll up next to :D

@robertmike219 Turbo 'Busa will outrun plenty of cars, but then you eliminate its capability to be effective on the (non-drag strip) track - the turbo makes it much less responsive, and means that your power is a lot harder to use. A turbo Busa will outrun most anything in a straight line but you can buy a Radical for fairly cheap (car-wise) and it will kill Busa's around tracks, especially the more technical / tighter ones.
Don't get me wrong though, I love bikes - I ride an '09 R6!

@D2der2333 mtt bike it is Y2K bike, it not beat venom gt at top speed, mtt bike hit out 227 mph, and mtt bike not nice bike, it look like fish, and got 320 horsepower and god of sakes 425 torque it hit only 227 mph but 0-200 in damn 10 seconds, but hayabusa turbo with 400 horsepower, much low torque 265 it did 0-200 in 11.2 seconds but top speed out over 253 mph, and hayabsua lose by 0-200 cause y2k is fat cheat cuz for 425 torque but it very close cuz only 1.2 sec slower omg.

@TheHavoc09 remember bikes do it at a fraction of the cost. any jap litre bike costs about $17-18k AUD. throw 20k of go fast bits on it (mainly suspension and exhuast and dyno tuning) and watch it kill the car and still cost less. also with the 20k of work it will have a chance in corners against the car (if someone that knows how to drive is driving).

by finally catching up in its last ( 6th ) gear, R6 is stock only able to do 175 180 maybe , cars are made with basicly over drive to go faster the R6 gets to 180 really quick though and can primaily turn good on top of how hard it pulls in a drag its made to winde out gears at even full lean and stops on a dime its 350lbs and 125hp ( at fraction of a single hourses weight lol ) plus a different experience then a car completly but cool video nontheless , now i know i can beat a lambo on my R6
