  • You know how many times I had to hear this in the 70s. My dad is almost full blooded polish and had to listen this on the way to church but I love my dad for this bringing this culture to anyway he could.

  • Over 100,000 views? WTF?! Man, thats cool!

  • LMAO! HA HA HA HA U BITCH ASS STEELERS LOST! STEELERS HAVE FINALLY BEEN EXPOSED FOR THE LOOSERS THEY ARE. GOING TO COLLECT MY MONEY FROM THESE DICK HEADS. LOL

  • @cjzzzzz who do you go for you asshole? Flake-o and the Ravens?

  • at 0:00, Steelers logo in a FOX Sports logo when NFL on FOX had the 1998-2000 on screen graphics, despite the NFL on FOX carries NFC away games.

  • @2011mrkingofkings You have a pretty good eye for details, and I do think you are right. When I made this video, I was just looking for appropriate photos to go with the tune.

  • I barf all over steelers helmet and towels. steelers are cheaters and loosers and will pay. ha ha ha ha ha

  • @cjzzzzz You clearly have no life if you barf on the Steeler's helmets and towels. And where is your proof that we cheat? And even if it was true, what could YOU do about it?

  • this song and Jack Lambert !! Super Bowl Feva

  • So great to hear the original version! My older sis had this on a 45 back in the '70's and we'd play it over & over!

  • I haven't looked at this video in a long time. Almost 72,000 views? Holy crap! Thanks to everybody.

  • Steeler Polka...Cool

  • I remember Pete Franklin really lambasting this, making allusion to the women of Pittsburgh all wearing babushkas.

The funniest thing was when Big Chuck and Lil' John played this record before the game and with the audio they showed film of all kinds of stupid video, like a man catch cannon balls with a chest protector, etc.

Then Jack Lambert of Mantua, Ohio came out on the field without his teeth and really got after the Browns and 82,000 other people. Those were fun times.

  • wtf kinda song is this????r u serious Steelers have 2 superbowls in the past couple year...PATS HAVE 3 since 01

  • @EAgoodfish apperently u dont know anything IDIOT u r so wrong on everythig jerk hole i hope a monkey spits on ur face and sucks ur ***

  • ~cough cough~ cleveland never been to super bowl ~cough cough~ woah xcuse me i need to have this cough checked out

  • If you played for the Browns you'd have plenty of time to get that looked at. NOT LIKE YOU'D HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO IN JANUARY!!

BWA-HA-HA! I tease because it's not my team.

  • The Steelers made the Chunky Soup "Click for Cans" playoffs, but if we don't outvote the Buffalo Bills in the next 2 days, it's over - we're out.

    Please vote!

the prize is 18,000 cans of Chunky Soup for the Food Bank - that's some 36,000 lunches for kids!

  • Are the Browns in the Playoffs??? "Ahem"

  • browns who????? lol-once again they are out for the year-they been out lol

  • hi anyone want to chat

    great vid OZ

  • Great video and great rivalry. I hope your team does something with its coaching staff next year, because I know the Browns have the talent to make a more competitive rivalry in the AFC North again.

  • "ahem" whos in the AFC Championship Game not the clevland clowns so i dont want to hear that they have talent.

  • Great video, brings back so many memories. I had the privelage of working at 3 rivers stadium from 1976-1982 for "Dirt" DeNardo and Joe DiMattio (Mr. "D").Watching Bradsdhaw practice with Swan and Stalworth at lunch time or just anytime was a treat. Meeting Art Rooney Sr I think was the highlight of my experience there, what a guy! He was so down to earth and friendly, made you feel like a person and not just a worker. I still see so many souvenir's at the strip district that reflect the rivalry

  • pittsburgh steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have this song on a 45 record and never played it. Bring back BRADSHAW not favre.

  • come on pechinrules dont make dumb ass comments..i a big steelerfan also..but come on be logical on yur comments.

  • hah! i love it! pechin is a typical steeler fan! and i ain't putting him down. but i have been hearing that kind of stuff from steeler fans forever! "if we had bradshaw........swann......lambert.......ham.......etc"!

  • The BEST one ever!!!

  • Glad you liked it. I had a blast making it! Maybe I'll make one for the Minnesota Vikings, once Brett Favre is traded to the Vikes. Hey - Favre would make a pretty good back up in Black and Gold. Or maybe in my favorite colors - orange and brown!

  • whoa - i stand corrected! favre in ny with the jets! hmmmm.......guess we'll have to see about that one. if the guy still has the legs and arm, give him a shot. why not?

  • go stillers! go pittsburgh polka! (haha stedar!)

  • go stillers! go pittsburgh polka! (haha stedar!)

  • Man - I miss going to Pittsburgh for Browns/Steelers games! I always had a blast slapping the beef with the Stillers fans!

  • Cope will be missed... Go Stillers! Yoi and double yoi!

  • All hail Myron Cope! Lets face it - as a broadcaster, he was awful! Never has been a bigger homer! But to go to Pittsburgh and see a Steeler game and NOT listen to Myron was almost sinful! I think he was the only guy in western PA to be a fan of Bubby Brister! And Tunch Ilkin! Miss that guy.

  • No, he wasn't. But, thanks for the vid.

  • yes, he was! but you HAD to listen to myron! he was unabashedly a fan first, broadcaster later. in a world where you have to try to report the sports unbiasedly, so as not to offend anyone (political correctness - what a load of crap!), myron took a different route and WAS the voice of pittsburgh "stiller" fans! he was the first "homer", the original. and my browns hat is off to the man.....long live myron cope!

  • Agree to disagree... Again, thanks for the vid.

  • It's all good Jsun. See., this is why the rivalry between the Steelers and Browns was at one time so special. We could cheer our teams and talk smack about the other guys. But at the end, you could always have beers with Steelers fans and say "wait till next time"! I'm deadly serious when I say I miss going to Pittsburgh for the big games!

  • Couldn't agree more. The Browns are my fave rival...PERIOD. Every season I check for when we face the Browns. I was as pissed as anyone when they were taken away in '95. Ihave friends who are Browns fans. At the Steelers bar I go to here in Vegas, one of our group has a Browns fan as a wife. We give her guff all the time, but itz all in fun. We're a big family. Itz a 'love/hate relationship: I love to hate the Browns, and hate to love the Browns.

  • When I would go to Pittsburgh for games, it was always the same - the Steelers fans would start trash talking, and we'd give some back. Then we'd have a beer (usually an Iron City!) together! I met a lot of great people in Pittsburgh that loved their team as much as I love mine. And there was never any problems, unlike going to Cincinnati or Indianapolis! I don't hate the Steelers or hate Pittsburgh. But I love my team, and I miss what the Browns/Steelers rivalry used to be.

  • Yeah...Cincy sucks. The best rivalry in the AFC was the Steelers-Browns. It isn't the same, but it is still pretty good. And it'll be better when you guys start winnin' again and can challenge for the division. Put ya cups up to that! Holla...

  • @SteelerJsun Strange but true, i find myself rooting for the Browns when they aren't playing the Steelers just so they can be good again and I can go back to hating them properly. Go STEELERS & win yet another in Dallas while the Cryboys (cheers, Myron) sit at home and watch.

  • What wonderful memories, Thank you.

  • My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Amazing song!! I love you Myron Cope!! RIP. GO STILLERS!!! Da Burgh will ALWAYS be home.

  • Always enjoyed the time I spent in Pittsburgh. Didn't always enjoy Iron City, but you gotta take the good with the bad I suppose!

  • Go Steelers.

  • Except for when they are playing the Browns!

  • yins wanna drink an errn city beer for myron with me? lol r.i.p. myron cope...

  • Kin yins still git Errn City beer at da Gint Igle?

  • I'm drinking an Iron City beer right now after just learning of Myron Cope's passing. RIP

  • Myron lives. Just remember him and he'll always live on. Like Mike Webster. And Elvis.

  • this is truly the best version of the steelers polka and also the hardest to find:( great video!

  • Thanks a lot! You owe me an Iron City!

  • What beer to blind men like best? IC Light!

I was a kid when I came up with that joke ;)

  • i grew up near steubenville ohio half of our family are steelers fans and the other browns fans... made it interesting..being a browns fan..needless to say you know what i think of the steelers... i heard this song so many time. i guess its a good thing i liked polkas,, nonethe less the best pure rivalry in pro football regardless the records.. have a good day

  • I can remember hearing this polka every football season when I was a child. Thanks for the memories!

  • My pleasure. It was blast to make.
