@tougejonnydrift There was very few D1 drivers there (only one of the top, and not driving his normal car...), Numerous Forumla Drift drivers were there, including the current champ. who was driving the same car he has spent over a year perfecting the set up on. Hardly a fair contest to compare Forumla D to D1 drivers. Also no one else builds drift cars that are pretty much nascars

@tougejonnydrift Get a grip! School yourself or buy some additional brain cells... Gittin Jr. was driving his regular competition FD car for one and Daigo was using a borrowed car. Plus FD drivers chicken out at driving in the rain, which is harder and sharpens the skills; Follow D1 and you'll see that no matter the rain, fog or whateva, their events go on and they keep on drifting. So...... the math should be simple....

And the next day Vaughn was in Detroit doing drift demos with a bunch of Ford dealers, then flew back to Maryland, before California for the final event of Formula Drift. All the while taking the time to listen to then locals wherever he is. Talented, hard working, pationate, and great for the sport, and the Mustang. RTR is not just a phrase it is his way of life.

Damn Vaughn Gittin did extremely well. Saito is no slouch. When i saw how pinned Saito was on the first run, It left Gittin to fill some big shoes. And he did! Nice face off. Now I want to see Gittin vs Saito in Saito's JZX chaser. That would be wild

I'm not a fan of ford/mustang/any american cars. I "hate v8" or atleast, it's not my taste. If you were driving another japanese car, maybe i'll like you even more.

I just respect your driving skills/style, because even if your car/motor isn't my style, you're a great drifter, who surely deserved that win. Keep having fun =)
