You can use quickscope. They should fix this problem as I hope it wasn't supposed to be. I mean use some sort of timer and set up the scope and if you want to "quickscope" use the ironsight!

Higher ranking players can take away classes from lower ranking? That's retarded. Because the higher ranking player can be some dumbass that it's good at FPS but just got there because they've been playing the game longer than a lower ranked player, which could be much better at the game.

@Sausbert Well, this game's budget is like 100x smaller than BF3's. I think Tripwire has done a great job. If you like ww2 games and also like games being a little more realistic than your usual cod or battlefield experience, this might be just your game. Also, if you crank the graphics all the way up it looks awesome.

can you setup the aim deadzone to 0 (cero)? I mean, when you aim you have some free movement of the sight and the view doesnt move like other fps games. In Arma 2 you can change the aim deadzone values for example

You failed to mention one important thing in the video, probably because you didn't realize you could do it. You can press 6 when you are using a sniper rifle to aim down the iron sights under the scope. This makes them a bit easier to use at close range.

@CoGItsaMeEnzo It's because in pretty much every FPS zooming in doesn't actually magnify anything, it just lowers you FOV so that everything looks closer and you lose some peripheral vision. This is done because it's extremely easy to code, just changing one number (your FOV) from say a defualt of 60 down to 20 to give you scope zoom.

In this game the engine has to calculate distortion and magnification in a specific area, which is far more complex.

Personally I wish more games had this realism.

@d0n7bl1nk @kirielvids It's not based on rank or honor, its actually based on how well you are doing for that segment of that map, if someone swaps to sniper and they do poorly, you still have the ability to throw them back to marksman. (from what I've seen) :)

Ok i'm curious of opinions on limited classes. Sounds like it'll help make the game play more like they want and means it would be a COD quickscoping fest. BUT you also limit the ability of people to play how they want. PLUS, high rank can take over? How are lower ranks supposed to get better at sniping if it's taken everytime or they can never get it?

I love developers trying new things though and hope more try things similar until we find something that really works.
