I watched an episode the other day were this guy made sausages but didn't use casings. He rolled the meat into a corn husk like a tamale. Does anyone know which show that was as I would like to get the seasoning recipe and make some myself that way. Thanks.
We were on our way out of town and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat. I used my iPhone to lookup BBQ and came across Tom's. I will have to say the reviews do not do this place justice. We had the BBQ Pork & Slaw sandwich.. Let's just say Tom's ruined BBQ for us because we haven't came across anything that even touches their perfection!
I just found Tom's on a visit to Memphis a couple of weeks ago. Knew nothing about it being on the show. The owner liked us and gave us a sampler dish to go with our meals. Then he gave me a tour of his kitchen. Great place.
Folks, I've been here. It's the best BBQ on the planet. I tried Leonards first, which was good, but Tom's is a 10. Adam is super passionate about his food, and threw a few free samples at me to make sure I experienced all the magic this place has to offer. Rib tips were amazing, but a little hard to eat (not much meat). Pulled pork sandwich with slaw was awesome, but the baby backs were the best. Can't wait to get out there again.
I was there this past Thursday, the rib tips were out of this world. The rub was top notch along with the sauce yet....mmmmm!
