Bouncer was a golden Labrador, he looked just like Marley, but he was interbred and when he was 6 months old he had to be put to sleep. I watched Marley and Me for the first time a couple months before we had to put our dog down.She had bladder cancer and didn't have much time left.This movie made me BAWL.Worse than I have watching any other movie.But to see your animal pass away in person is just indescribable.She passed away in March of this year and I still cry to this day.I'm glad I was there for her to help her pass on peacefully but Its extremely hard.RIP Summer.

Well in my case I love dogs so much I cannot fathom life without one. I guess its because they love you uncondtionally and just the exuberance for life they have. I don't know exactly how to explain it really-Each person has to decide for themself if they want to go through the loss. Yeah it will hurt like hell but there comes a day when you look back and remember all the happy times you shared together. For me I guess that what makes it worth it.
