My brother took Slavic Folklore his freshman year of college and we all made fun of him for it, but he ended up loving that class! I'm sure you know of this book already, but "The Help" by Katheryn Stockett is absolutely amazing. And a book you might like is "Revolution" by Jennifer Donnelly.

You should check out the book Beach Blondes by Catherine Applegate! its this amazing summer read book, great for when your lieing outside or by the beach. It really captures you in the book. It takes place in Flordia, and this girl named summer meets 3 guys and she has a thing with them all. Meanwhile her cousin and friend has drama to deal with. its my favourite book ever!!<3

cecilia ahern is my favorite author!! I've read all of her books (except for "The Gift"). The Book of Tomorrow is actually one of her slower books, but the end is a real surprise. I could not put the book down when i got to the end. I actually stayed up later than usual to finish the book, but it was worth it! I'd definitely reccomend more of her books! They're amazing.

Cecilia Ahern is the one who wrote PS: I LOVE YOU. If you haven't read that yet, you should. That book is engraved in my soul. I am the main character, I cry SO hard when I read it. I mean sobbing, crying my eyes out, mucus running down my nose kind of crying. Also read her book Where Rainbows End, it's being turned into a movie with, I think, Hugh Jackman.

i have been addicted to this series of books by Susanne Collins called gregor the overlander, the font is big and i didnt like it at first but im already on the fourth book (theres 5) and i got it a week ago. This book is about a boy going to an underland and meeting weird people and creatures.

You need to check out 'sister' by rosamund lupton, I've just finished reading it and it's totally different to other books I've read but I loved it, i was hooked all the way through. Its a very emotional book and very close to my heart, as the title suggests its about sisters and having a sister myself it really hit home and actually made me cry which a book has never done before, I'm now starting 'red riding hood'by sarah blakley-cartwrightt and david leslie johnson. I absolutely LOVE Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen! It is actually the the first book I have read by her and fell in love with her writing since! I've probably read Lock and Key ten times. I really started reflecting on my life after I had read it and became so much more grateful. The book if by no means depressing, but it has a really great meaning to it. I hope you love it as much as I do!

If you are interested in Fairy tales you should read the Gregory Maguire books, or the Angela Carter Fairy Tales, they are sort of new twists on the stories and are both fun reads because you compare to the original but also really really interesting because obviously Disney changed the originals too so this is like a new take on changing them (Maguire wrote Wicked, and also ones for cinderella and snow white etc as a point of reference for you) xo
