Kelly should surfed the semi-pro and take that win....he struggled the entire event with that second class board....but he was the best as usual....

I have the Semi pro and it is amazin..I surfed thw wizard sleeve as well by both Kelly and Al and it was epic as well...but nothing can be compared to the semi pro....but surfing Fred Rubble...no way...what you have created will play best along side with you...

@kriya17 ah bro the fred rubble is a sick board ! its def one of the most wanted boards right now here in california ! if u havent rode one, i highly suggest it ! yes the semi pro is a great board too but it rides better in a good hollow punchy wave. the rubble rides better in slower mushy waves and its a super good board for california waves too ! lots of volume ! its still fairly new but once people get a chance to ride one it will prob end up being one of ci's best sellers here in the u.s. !

@kriya17 I think thats the psych game he plays against his adversaries, using unusual boards, and he even rode with 5 fins in this event, obviously in doing so, sometimes you are going to come unstuck! Especially against someone like Owen who is in good form and who I believe was a very deserving winner!

@PetePlacid1 he likes to play different I do agree...but jumping on a new board with no tail pad...was a pitty sight to watch it break in half on the lip....owen is a wonderful surfer ad as a big creasy fan of Kelly as I am ...I am happy that Owen got a win with biggest pay... he is great guy and a great role model for our favorite sport in all times..
